Emily finally found courage to visit the Hellfire Club she had heard so much about. She chose the time of her visit carefully and entered the club at about seven in the evening: not too early for the empty-dead club, not too late to get drowned in booming music and noisy crowds that she had been told about. Keeping her zero alcohol tolerance in mind, she got herself a latte and sat down on a sofa not far from the bar, looking around the place. As far as she could judge, it was okay for its purpose; she made a mental note to later take a walk around and see what other rooms the club had. It didn't look like walks around the place were prohibited or anything.

::Pietro had been running an errand in Manhattan, when he passed the Hellfire Cub in time to see Emily walk inside it. Always having time to spare, he entered after her and found her on a sofa.:: "Here alone?"

"Hi Pietro," Emily smiled. "Yeah," she added. "Wanna join, or are you on your way somewhere?"

::Pietro sat down in an armchair across from her.:: "I will join you, if you don't mind."

"I don't," Emily said. She ripped the tip of a sugar pack and poured the sugar on top of froth milk in her glass. "Do you come here often?"

::Pietro responded with a slight shake of his head. The two times he had come here previously were solemn occasions, and here now, because he had seen her enter.:: "I'm not into the club scene."

"Me neither," Emily sighed. "I just wanted to finally come and look what it was all about. I think I might even be the last one who hasn't been here yet."

::Pietro nodded slightly as he listened. Coming here was a try at fitting in. And everyone came to a bar at least once before becoming legal. They'd done it enough times when he had been a student.:: "What do you think?"

"It's nice," Emily nodded, taking a quick look around the bar just in case her impression may have changed for the last five minutes. "As far as it's quiet evening appearance goes. I don't know about the night-time, though, when the dancefloors are open and it's crowded."

::Pietro hadn't seen the club with particularly rough crowds either. The first time he had come in the middle of the afternoon, and left with the bartender. The second time had been a bit later, with both Phoebe and Typhoid, but they had stayed in the corner away from passersby. Both times his attention had been elsewhere.:: "Can I get you something besides coffee?"

"I really don't know," Emily said, smiling sheepishly at his question. "I'd rather avoid alcohol... and I don't know what else they offer here, apart from coffees and sodas."

"Give me a minute," ::Pietro rose from the chair and sped over to the bartender. He ordered a pint of vodka and a virgin Sea Breeze for her to try. Most women seemed to enjoy the fruit taste, and there was no alcohol in it. Once he paid for the drinks, he joined her back in the corner and handed her the drink.:: "Here."

"Thank you," Emily said with a smile, then studied the cocktail. "So... what is it I'm looking at here?"

::Pietro opened his bottle of vodka and took a sip from it.:: "A Sea Breeze, non-alcoholic. Juices and seltzer."

"Great," Emily nodded. She hoped she could remember the name of the cocktail for future reference if she ever wanted to come here again or at least make herself a cocktail at home. She took a tentative sip, taking in the taste. It was mostly grapefruit, she guessed, but something else was tinting it, making it less sour and more sweet. "It's very interesting," she said, looking back at Pietro. "Thank you. I should remember its name... Wait..." she said, realizing what Pietro's drink was. "You're drinking vodka just like that??" she asked in astonishment.
