::Pietro nodded slightly. He viewed the issue as a speed-related one, not one of mere balance. Gymnastics would not help the situation; controlled drag racing would, as far as he was concerned. Gymnastics involved painfully slow, carefully balanced motion, that would not prepare her for a three-hundred-mile per hour run. But he was admittedly biased, and his body had long since grown accustomed.:: "If you think that will work."

"I don't know," Emily said, "I'm only guessing it would get me somewhere, but I can't be sure, I'm not an expert in... sports."

"You preferred quieter, artsy activities?" ::Pietro ventured the guess as they continued to walk up the path.::

"Reading and playing piano," Emily nodded with a smile. "If you don't count swimming." Which was also rather quiet, she realized, but to her it had mostly been related to her job as a lifeguard, so it wasn't a completely peaceful thing to do.

"I count swimming," ::Pietro said. Swimming to her, he imagined, was running to him. A chance to immerse yourself in your abilities. Peaceful in its own right.::

They reached the stairs, and Emily paused. It was late enough to go to sleep, but she still had a matter to tend to. "I'll go see how my fish are doing before I go to bed," she told Pietro, partly hesitating because she worried it could sound like she was simply dismissing his company - with her inability to carefully word her ideas and choose suitable intonations it could very well have sounded that way.

::Pietro nodded once in understanding. He remembered that the fish were important to her, and furthermore, it was late enough. He would do his security sweep after putting away his purchases and could also then sleep also.:: "Have a good night, Emily."

"You are welcome," ::Pietro replied sincerely. It had been a pleasant evening, and he was gratified that she had been able to get out and explore for the day.::

Emily smiled and walked away towards the rec room where her aquarium was.
