Shade gave him a nod. "All right then." she said. She wondered how late it was. The awkwardness from earlier was not as feelable any more, but she had the feeling there were some things she had to deal with for now. Which meant she could easily hide that truth behind some work she had to do. "I guess I´ll hop over to the mansion again and get some work done." she therefore said.

Iggy grinned " Okay, I think I'll stay out here for a bit longer" he said turning his head toward the ceiling again and staring upward. He could sense something had come from this conversation with Shade.

Shade gave the boy another smile and a nod. "I´ll see you around then." she said, before grabbing her water bottle and walking off.
The conversation had been a nice change, even though her leaving the gym already had not been planned, for even though Shade had enjoyed talking to the kid, it had not been something to pass her by without traces. Crossing her arms when she walked over to the mansion was not just a gesture against the still rather cool wind, but unconsciously also one to fight a slight uneasyness. There had been a moment, a split second when she had seen Iggy first, from the corner of her eyes, that she had almost mistaken him for her little brother. And even though this was nonsense and Shade was very well aware of that, it made her shiver inwardly and for a moment gave her a feeling of utter lonelyness. She wished Gambit was there. She didn´t even know whether she would have wanted to talk about it, maybe it wasn´t even worth being talked about what she had thought, but in this moment she missed him terribly because seeing his face would have been the distraction she needed right now.
Old Shade of a year ago would have headed to her dorm. But now she didn´t. Pondering where to find some people, she headed for the rec room which she knew usually was occupied with a hand full of mansion people this time of the day.
