((takes place the day after Encounters on the grounds))
The gym had been empty when Shade had arrived and she didn´t know whether that was a usual thing or not. She did not come here too often, maybe had a couple of times in the last year. But with not much to do and Gambit gone since Christmas she felt a little restless - and she felt she could need some physical activity.
Apart from that, she had made it a habit to train her powers now and then. Little exercises during everyday things, like letting things vanish or fidgeting around with the fine tunings of her invisibility. She had run a few laps and done a little punching at the punching bag before she had spotted the ropes that hung from the ceiling. Just a few of them, but thick enough to climb them. From a sudden childlike impulse - since she had often climbed things as a kid, even though not very well, she had dragged one of the thick training mats under the ropes so that if she fell, she would fall softly. Then she had started to climb up the rope. It was difficult and she found that things could not look too elegantly, so after a moment of supposedly looking more dumb than graceful, she had decided that, since she had not just come here for physical exercise but power training as well, she could turn this into an exercise for her invisibility.
The rope had a thick not at the lower end and she stepped onto that with her feet, holding onto the rope with her hands, so she was looking like someone trying to swing on a liana. However, this was not what she did, yet. Instead, she focussed her powers on the material of the rope and slowly made it vanish. SHe could feel her powers kick in with ease at first, but then things became more difficult - a strange mix between knowing there were limits, and her powers wanting more. SHe extended her invisibility to the lenght of the rope, then started to swing, finding it funny how that looked, seemingly standing and swinging back and forth in mid air. But like this, it was more difficult and she put all her concentration into the task.
