When she turned back to face 'Magneto', the figure had vanished. The rational part of her mind caught up with what Pietro had said, and she finally started walking again, but not ahead of him. "I....know."

::They had nearly reached the peaceful little valley at the edge of the grounds. Pietro supposed his tree fort might still be there. She said she knew; he wouldn't question whether she meant she knew about him, or simply generally given what he had done to her. He did not wish that knowledge.:: "This passes."

"The powers don't. The habits don't." She walked while looking at her feet.

::Pietro could not argue with that, so he would not.:: "The hallucinations will."

"For you, maybe," she said, still walking, looking at her feet as she did. We won't stop, the voices seem to whisper to her in response. "They're replying to you," she said aloud.

::Of course they were. Why should they not, given that Pietro was incapable of hearing the auditory hallucinations and thus could not reply himself? He was not paid enough for this.:: "I can curse them in Romanes, if you wish."

"Sure, you can call me all the names I'm sure ya'll have wanted to," she said, shaking her head, still looking at the ground. "Ah'm just wishing Ah could manifest your girlfriend easier then your father."

::If Pietro wished to call her names, he would; for the most part, at this stage in their lives, he considered her a non-entity. Except in this moment, where he had led her to the clearing he used as an escape. And they had arrived; he was correct, his tree fort was still there. Reaching the tree, he tapped the trunk; it had weathered well. However, his back stiffened at her comment.:: "My father carves toys for small children in Ostrov."

"OK, the idiot you happen to be biologically related to then." She didn't really give a damn what he thought of either of his parents, or at the very least it wasn't at the top of her thoughts at the moment. She was trying not to react to voices; fortunately her lucidity seemed to be staying, but God knew how long that would last.

"Sit," ::Pietro said, and it took all of his patience to ignore her remark.:: "Nobody can bother you here."

"That's what you think," she said, but she sat anyways. "People are watching."

::Pietro leaned against the tree and crossed his arms over his chest.:: "Nobody real."

"Real to me. Or real to this guy...person...whatever. Ah don't even know who Ah touched." It felt like a male, from the memories, but everything was so obscured it could have been a drag queen for all she knew.

"But they are not actually real, try to hold on to that." ::Pietro could hardly believe he was in a position of trying to offer comfort to her, as well as tips on how to survive a delusional episode. This was what his life was reduced to.::

It almost sounded like he was trying to be comforting, except for the monotone it was in. "Thanks a lot." The sarcasm was obvious, her defense for feeling vulnerable. "Ah might be a leach but Ah can't pick and choose my symptoms."
