She smiled and returned the favor, shaking his hand briefly but firmly. "Thank you, again. And good luck to you as well." Nadia then pulled a few bills from her purse to leave on the table before turning to leave the cafe. Talking with Karl had been a nice diversion, but now she had to get down to business.

One last glance at him, and she was out the door, back on the sidewalk.
