"If we can find anything as eloquent," ::Odin said with a sigh. He would be stuck on this for longer than was healthy, quite likely.:: "I'm going to make a sandwich. Would you like one?"

"Go on then," she said with a small smile as she watched him, hoping he would be able to cheer up a little.

"Sounds good to me," she replied with a nod of her head, watching him stand. "Need any help?"

"If you'd like," ::Odin replied over his shoulder, when he started to walk for the kitchen. If she wanted to keep up conversation, he wouldn't object to it.::

"Ok," she replied, slipping her legs off the couch as she got to her feet. She absently straightened her clothes before she followed him into the kitchen to help him prepare their sandwiches.

::Once in the kitchen, Odin went straight to the refrigerator to find the cold cuts. Turkey was in the drawer, as well as the Swiss cheese, which he removed and set on the counter. A change of topic felt in order.:: "Was anything good on today?"

"Hm, usual daytime TV," she replied with an absent shrug as she went to get the loaf out of the bread bin. She set it out on a bread board and got some slices out for their sandwiches.

"Paternity tests and soap operas?" ::Odin ventured the guess. Reaching deeper into the refrigerator, he found pickles.::

"How did you know?" she asked with a small smirk as she looked over to him. "Sometimes they crossover too!" she then added, giving a chuckle before she set about buttering the bread for their sandwiches.

::Her question had been facetious, which didn't cause the compulsion to force Odin to answer. Instead, he pulled the pickle jar from the refrigerator and set it on the counter, before replying with dry humor.:: "Latent psychic ability."

"Impressive," she teased in response, picking up the bread board and carrying it to the counter nearest Odin so he could start adding their fillings.

::Odin brought the turkey over to the counter, where he began to put it on one side of the bread slices, which Stacy had laid out for them.:: "More impressive than the shows?"

"Oh, of course," she replied with a smile, resting one hand on the worktop and putting the other on her hip as she watched him put the turkey on the sandwiches.

"Then I'm satisfied," ::Odin quipped back, a smile on his lips as well. After ample portions of turkey were on both sandwiches, he began laying down the Swiss cheese.::
