Her grip tightened a little without Shade noticing it. The sudden tenderness of their love making had put her into a rather emotional state already but now she could feel another wave of happyness sweep across her mind, one more intense than most, making her skin tingle slightly. She had not expected these words, they were different from his "I think I´m in love" from a few weeks previously, they felt good, so good.
She turned her head slightly to look at Gambit who had his face nestled in her hair and one hand sneaked up to stroke his hair. "I love you, too." she said, her voice low and darker than usual but from affection not sexual need. She had told him before, he knew, but once more she found herself bursting with it, filling herself with a happyness that almost made her want to laugh for pure joy. Her other hand around Gambit´s bacl she pressed him closer, turning her head a little more to seek his lips for a kiss.

Shade could feel his smile against her lips and couldn´t help but mirror it, feeling completely happy in this moment. Her heart was going fast, but for a moment she got so lost in his embrace and kiss that she didn´t continue moving, fully content with everything, her world and thinking reduced to their two bodies.

His head was spinning, both from the kiss and from the emotions, and he needed to do something to apply the energy that had built up inside of him purely on high level of feelings. Gambit's hands regained their control, holding Shade firmly, and he leaned to the side, flipping them over and turning on top of her.

Shade allowed him to flip them over feeling completely secure. She smiled up at him, revelling in the emotions she read in Gambit´s eyes and leant up a little, placing small kissing on a line from the corner of his mouth down to his chin. She slung the second leg around his waist firmly, needing his closeness and slowly pushed her lower body against him.

Keeping both her legs clasped around Gambit´s waist, Shade responded to him, meeting his thrusts in slow, long movements. Their little break had helped to even her breath although her heart was still racing wildly. She didn´t heed it and enjoyed the feeling instead, knowing that to a considerable extent it resulted from her emotional state.

Gambit used his weight to push into her. His movements weren't fast, but he penetrated her deep enough to nearly hurt. If he could, he would go even deeper, wanting to melt into her, to become a part of her body, and had to restrain himselt a little not to crush her with forceful movement of his hips.

This didn´t feel just like sex - it had ceased to do so for her a long time ago, but seeing this sort of emotion mirrored in his eyes felt better than anything she could imagine right now, making her body leap towards another orgasm more quickly than it usually would have done.
