Even though there was a blanket between them, it felt like close physical contact which was maybe due to the way Shade was feeling right now. After their conversation the night before she felt part of what they had shared still lingering... not the terrible memories in themselves, rather the fact that they had shared memories one would not talk about easily unless there was at least some basis of trust. She tilted her head back slightly, giving Gambit better access, while one of her hands stroked his hair, the other trailed down his back.

Shade gave a low sound somewhere in the back of her throat that sounded like a completely relaxed purr. She briefly wondered whether there was a visible trace of his bite from the day before and it made her chuckle inwardly. Her grip around his waist tightened slightly seeking more contact which the blanket naturally prevented anyways.

Gambit covered her neck with a series of soft kisses, knowing the spots that excited Shade most of all. He noticed a mark from his bite the previous night and covered it with a kiss as well. Her embrace pulled him closer to her, and in a response he pressed his hips more between her legs.

Shade could feel her body respond, moving her hips again, arching her body upwards slightly. For some reason even though there was no actual contact between their torsos, it excited her - or maybe it was because there was no real contact. Gambit seemed intent on keeping this up for now and she was curious herself. Bending her neck to catch Gambit´s earlobe between her teeth gently, she moved her hips again, a little more demanding this time.

They were close, and yet they were not which gave Shade the impression that what she could feel was slightly intensified but still not enough. It fuelled her excitement and slight impatience as she matched her movements with Gambit´s letting her hand run along his back, her head leant back a little, her eyes closed, concentrating on his kisses.

Gambit licked a line up along her neck, then paused and nibbled on her chin slightly with a small content smile. He knew the motions of his body must have been teasing for her, exciting her but not giving her the full extent of erotic contact, and that was fun.

Shade could feel his smile against her chin and smirked slightly. Gambit was teasing her, that much was obvious and it had an effect on her, getting her aroused, but by far not enough. She bucked her hips again with a slight growl to let him know she was not giving up that easily. She could have just grabbed for the blanket and drag it away, but didn´t.
