This Couldn't Be More Unexpected (Closed)

Seeing her claws, Michael ended up backing up. Making sure he didn't use his ability while he did so, he put his hands up in a "I surrender" motion. "Woh, hold on now. I don't want to hurt you" He told her wondering how it could have been his luck to run into a mutant. Michael felt his adrenaline start to rise like it had done before, as the fight or flight kicked in. Suddenly, Michael felt the surge in him and electricity shot from his hands at the girl. The only thought that ran through his brain was oh sh-

Laura was caught off guard when she suddenly went flying into the air her body twisting as she landed on her bike due to the intensity of the electricity. On top of that her claws were metal so they were a conductor of the electricity. Laura started to shake as it surged through her body. Her claws retracted once the electricity stopped going through her body.

Michael closed his hands and ran over to the girl wondering if he'd killed her like he'd killed the man. With the man he hadn't stopped but that didn't mean that the girl wouldn't have burns on her. What he saw shocked him even more because he wasn't expecting it.

Moving to get up, Laura cracked her neck to the side. Her face was burned on one side, her collar bone had a few burns and her jacket was a little burnt. Her burns began to heal as she got up off the bike and stood to look at the man. Bike now trashed, along with her leather jacket she was furious. She went to take off her leather jacket which was still smoking and threw it on the ground. "Don't want to hurt me uh?" She extended her claw planning on attacking him.

When the girl came at him preparing to attack even though it was clearly an accident his own anger rose. "It was an accident!" He snarled at her. "I don't have much control over my ability" His ability was still swarming around his hands and if she attempted to attack him he would use it again, this time on purpose.

Laura growled at him. He was yelling at her when he's the one that attacked her. She hadn't yelled at him not yet anyway and she was trying very had not to attack him even though ever fibber in her being wanted to. "Yeah right" Her expression was still cold.

"It's the truth!" He spat back his anger growing more at the fact she didn't believe him and due to her attitude. Though he had to admit, she did have spunk. "Now put the knifes away and drop the attitude before you get shocked again"

That made Laura snap. She ran at him, claws out ready to tear him apart. He had been the one to start it and now she was going to ended it.

Seeing the girl run at him, he ran at her too. Tackling her, he ran at full speed and they ended up going off the roof. Michael held on to the girl and they flipped and turned in the air. Multiple thoughts ran through his head. We're going to die. Why was I so mad at Kylie still? Why had he made them go off the roof? What was going to happen to him once he died?

Laura was caught off guard when the man tackled her. No one had really done that before. Before she could brace herself they went flying off the roof. As they fell Laura tried to think clearly before they hit the ground. She needed to position herself on the bottom so she'd take most of the beating and he wouldn't be head. Do you want him dead? The thought ran through her brain before she could stop it. Yes but not by falling off a roof. She was able to turn them over just in the nick of time as they smashed onto a 1970 Chevalier. Painful was a word that didn't quite cover it.

Michael was positive he was dead. Opening his eyes that he had apparently closed he looked down and saw the girl under him. He tried to move but as soon as he tried pain shoot through him in his chest and he had a piece of glass from the right side window in his arm. Looking into the girl's eyes and seeing that she was alive he began to laugh. A mutant girl had actually saved his life. If she had just let him die all his problems would have been solved.

Laura waited for him to move but he did. When he started to laugh, she raised an eyebrow looking at him. Her voice was still cold and annoyed when she spoke. "What's so funny?" She asked trying to move, but realizing that she wasn't completely healed yet because there was still a lot of pain. That was the last time she saved anyone. Next time he could land on the bottom.

"Just thought you'd let me die considering you were going to kill me before" Michael said givien her a smirk.

She glared at him. "I want to kill you myself, not have some fall do it for me" Laura told him. "Now get off" She attempted to move again and was glad to find out that she was mostly healed. Just a couple cuts and bruises now, no more broken bones. She was sure she had broken a few ribs, a couple bones off her spine, dislocated her shoulder and possibly broken a leg. She still needed to pop her shoulder back into place but Laura couldn't do that till the guy got off of her.

Michael laughed again before he listened to her and attempted to get off her again. He clenched his teeth as he felt pain in his arm as the glass cut through his jacket and arm. He also that he had broken a couple ribs due to the pain in his chest. Pulling harder the glass came out of his arm and he was able to move. Swinging his leg over what was left of the car door he carefully got out. As he was getting out he felt the electricity surging through his body again. As soon as Michael got out of the car he opened his hand and discharged into the pavement as to not hurt the girl again. Not that it would matter since she could heal.
