((OK, here goes. No posting order. If you're going to have your character crash the party, PM me first (unless you already have). Other then that, this is for everyone who commented to my post and/or PMed me that they'd be joining. I'll leave notes about holding up posting so everyone can catch up because of the timezone thing))
Even on a limited budget, Typhoid decided to get some friends and people she knew together for St. Patty's Day. She found a small bar that was basically mutant friendly and had a good DJ, and it seemed a better alternative then Hellfire. It was about 9 pm, and she was there before everyone else.

Kitty had taken minimal time getting ready for Ty's party. She was excited to see her friends and to be doing something social with Doug. She liked showing him off. In a pair of ripped jeans, a Led Zepplin t-shirt, and her sneakers, she had basically dragged Doug out of the mansion and into the cab, which she was happy she could once again afford after working at Starbuck's for a few weeks. At the address Ty had given her, they got out of the cab and Kitty raced inside, knowing she was a little on the early side but not caring. Ty was the only one there, and Kitty squealed at seeing her friend, "Ty!!!" and assuming that Doug had followed her inside.

Ty heard a voice squeal her name from near the door and turned to see Kitty. "Hey!" she greeted, over the music.

Doug wasn't much of a 'party person', but Kitty had made an offer he couldn't refuse; she'd used her most powerful weapon against him: her sad eyes. He caved every time. So that was how he came to find himself at a bar in NYC, dressed in jeans and a simple gray t-shirt. Kitty had practically flown out of the cab and into the building; Doug, on the other hand, took his time. He thanked the cab driver politely, tipped him for his services, and walked inside after Kitty. She'd already spotted her friend, the redheaded girl named Ty. Doug remembered her from the Presidential election. She'd greeted him in Italian, if memory served.
Grinning, he held up a hand to her in greeting.

Gambit's hangouts were by no means limited to the Hellfire Club. He often preferred to visit other spots, it gave him a sense of better knowing the city life and atmosphere, and that was something he couldn't pass up.
Naturally ignoring the tradition of wearing a green piece of clothing, he drove his bike to a small bar he'd planned to visit earlier; since this was St. Patrick's day, it was bound to be packed with people, which was perfect for Gambit. He decided to smoke a cigarette out on the sidewalk before entering.

"How are you?" Kitty asked, her voice still raised in excitement. She wanted to hug Ty but still wasn't sure, even though she had been able to do so at the inauguration. She made a curious face and held her arms out in invitation.

Ty raised a hand to Cypher in greeting before she took Kitty's invitation of a hug, embracing her friend. "Excited. You?"

Kitty's grin widened as she hugged Ty and then looked back at Doug, who seemed a little uncomfortable, still near the door. She gestured for him to join them. "I'm excited, too. I don't get out much anymore."

"Neither do I," Ty said, which was true. Between work and school, she had little free time. "I don't know if Pietro's showing up so we might as well find some place to party."

Of course, Kurt had taken no taxi to get to the location and he still didn´t feel all too comfortable with this idea of a party, most obviously he stood out from the crowd quite a bit. He had made his way here on his own, wearing his typcal wide cloak to hide most of him. Only when he entered the place and saw some familiar places, he started to relax some more.

Monet was a little nervous about Ty's party. It would be the second mutant-oriented event she had attended, the first being the riot. She tried to remember what Odin told her about getting out of her familiar element, that it was good for her. She tried not to put too much thought into her outfit, which was becoming habit. What she wore was becoming less important to her. In a pair of dark jeans, a green peasant blouse (it was St. Patrick's day, after all) and a pair of black Maryjane flats, she applied her makeup almost reflexively and met Jake at the car. Jake was getting used to new routines, new places, and Monet's changing appearance. As long as he got paid and nobody got hurt, it didn't really matter to him. At the given address, Monet got out of the car, waving to Jake out of habit more than anything, passed a man smoking a cigarette near the door, and entered the bar.
Inside, she recognized Ty immediately, and the blue-skinned teleporter from the riot. Great. She thought to herself. There were only a couple of other people there, and she didn't recognize them. Ty was talking to a perky looking girl and a blond guy. Not wanting to interrupt, Monet headed for the bar and ordered a rum and coke.

Doug went, somewhat reluctantly, when Kitty beckoned. For a moment, he thought of himself as a golden retriever, wagging his tail when his mistress called. Smirking, he greeted Ty and then looked around the bar as she and Kitty spoke.
He noticed another woman at the bar in a green top, sipping a drink handed to her by the bartender; also, he spied a guy in a wide cloak. The hood obscured the figure's face from view, but Doug thought he saw a peek of blue skin. Blinking, he shook his head. Must just be the lighting, he thought.

Ty spotted Nightcrawler over Kitty's shoulder. "Can you guys hang on a sec?" she said to Kitty and Cypher. "I see someone else." Giving the girl a quick grin, she headed over to Nightcrawler who'd just come in. Monet had come in to, but headed straight to the bar; Ty made it a point to say something to her in a minute.
Ty had to rely on the brief glimpses of blue skin and the sound of his heartbeat to recognize who Nightcrawler was, as wrapped in his cloak as he'd made himself. "Kurt?"

Kitty looked at Doug as Ty walked away, her smile fading slightly. "Thank you for coming with me. I know you didn't really want to." She pouted at him jokingly.

Being used to people staring at him, Kurt quickly noticed who of the guests were staring at him now. A young man he didn´t know gave him quite a disbelieving look but he ignored that.
Some of the faces though looked familiar. That, and the fact that Ty had assured this wasn not to be a public party, made him feel a bit more at ease. When Ty adressed him, he smiled sheepishly and lowered the collar of his cloak, revealing his blue skin. "Yes." he said. "sorry to come hiding like this, but you know, I don´t like the public that much."
