Kitty took the bottle of water from Pietro and opened it. She drank from it and coughed, then wiped her mouth. "Thank you," she said.

::Pietro frowned slightly at her cough, concerned she might choke. However, she seemed to recover.:: "You are welcome."

A long moment passed while Kitty drank the water. With half the bottle gone, she finally felt she was steady enough to stand and did so. She forced a smile at Pietro and said, "I think I'm okay."

::Pietro eyed her with concern, but nodded in response. He was not one to force her hand; he detested being coddled and was incapable of thrusting it on another person.:: "Should I walk you to your room?"

Kitty's pride balked at the suggestion, but her logic told her it was probably best. She made an apologetic face and said, "If it isn't too much trouble."

"It isn't," ::Pietro said simply. It would be best for both of them if he walked her; for her health and his peace of mind.::

Kitty was embarrassed to ask for help, but was also still pretty scared by what had happened. She took a tentative step toward the door and was relieved by the fact that the room didn't spin and she didn't fall.

::Pietro walked closely behind her, although left enough space to not crowd her. Her walking was slow, but steady, and he decided from the observation that what happened might have passed.::

Kitty picked up the pace as they exited the Danger Room. She had no way of explaining to him what had happened, since she had no idea herself. "Maybe I rushed into it, I mean, I'm not in great shape." Her excuses were transparent, but she felt pressured to say something.

::Pietro merely nodded. He had only basic knowledge of first aid, and of his own physiology. Anything more complicated he left to Jean, Hank, or Uncle. It might have been a passing fit; it might have been an allergic reaction to smoke, for all he knew.::

Kitty ran a still-shaking hand through her hair as they entered the elevator. "Do you think I should talk to the Professor about it?" She asked without thinking. The feeling of embarrassment was passing, Pietro had seen her at her worst and had never been anything but helpful.

::The doors to the elevator closed, and Pietro leaned against the wall with arms crossed over his chest.:: "Do you think it was serious?"

Kitty scratched her forehead. Without looking at him, she admitted, "I don't know, but it was scary."

"Everything gets back to him," ::Pietro remarked. If she went to see one of the doctors, Uncle would learn of it. If she kept it to herself, or between he and she, the older man might not, but anything beyond that...::

"True." She mumbled as the elevator doors opened. She knew she would have to see the Professor, it was the only logical choice. That would mean fighting her pride and her fear.
