::Pietro was just on the bottom floor when he saw Kitty's position, on the ground, not moving. He stepped over her in a run - one of his, not a "normal" man's - and got the child out of the building, leaving her with the woman. It freed his hands, and he dashed back in, stumbling over a brick, but he caught himself. Metahuman balance, one of the best aspects of his physiology. He came to her side and shook her, to see if that would rouse her.:: "Kitty."

Kitty was only out for a moment, enough time for her body to get some much needed oxygen. She shook her head and tried to get to her feet, but the ground was still moving. She was scared, not knowing what the symptoms she was experiencing meant. "Something's wrong with me!" She cried out over the sounds of the earthquake.

::It was difficult to hear her with the ground rumbling and everything not nailed down crashing around them. However, Pietro got the gist of what she was saying and nearly shouted to make sure she heard him.:: "I'll end the scenario!"

Kitty pressed a hand to her chest and nodded in agreement. She knew she needed to see a doctor.

::Pietro used his override command to save and end the scenario, which caused the building around them to fade into the metallic walls. He remained crouched beside her, concerned.::

KItty was still kneeling on the ground as the room returned to it's normal state. She still had one hand clutched at her chest. "I feel like I can't breathe." She panted.

"I can get you to the medical bay," ::Pietro told her, and did not rise. He would carry her, but did not want to surprise her.:: "I will need to lift you."

Though the sensations were terrifying, Kitty was able to recognize that they were passing. "Wait a minute, I think I..." she stopped to breathe, still wheezing, "I think I just need to catch my breath." Her chest was tight and painful and breathing was difficult, but Kitty was loathe to admit there might be something seriously wrong. She held up her index finger, indicating that he should wait.

::Pietro's arms were already out and nearly around her when he noticed her finger, and he abruptly dropped them. He was a man, likewise, loathe to admit injury and defeat, and knew first-hand how humiliating it could be to brought to the laboratory. At the same time, he remembered Lily from over a year ago, and what had become of her.:: "You are sure?"

Kitty was far from sure, and was still having trouble breathing. "I think..." she panted, "I think I just got scared, you know?" She knew that she would betray her own level of distress if she tried to stand, so she stayed where she was, focusing all her attention on trying to breathe evenly.

::Pietro did not follow how it would give her such trouble breathing, but he could let her cover for herself, and he nodded slightly.:: "Do you want some water?"

Kitty was happy to have his attention diverted and nodded. "Yes, please." Her breathing was starting to even out and she hoped that whatever was happening to her would be over soon.

::Pietro left on a quest to find where they kept the bottled water, secure in the knowledge that he would only be gone for a few seconds, and nothing would happen to her in that time. As well, she might want the privacy.::

As Pietro left, Kitty clenched her eyes shut, trying to will her body back to normalcy. Her breathing was less painful and she was confident that she would be able to stand up and at least act normal soon.

::Pietro found a storage supply of bottled water and returned within a minute. Once again, he crouched beside her.:: "Here."
