"Yeah," Gambit gave a brief nod. He changed the subject again, just satisfying his curiosity in little aspects. "Have you had any funny clients already to share some anecdotes?"

"A few, yeah," Tabitha said with a small chuckle, nodding.

"I'd say the bar is the funniest place, seriously," Gambit said with a smirk. "Though the strippers get their share of nutcases, too."

Tabitha snickered. "I bet," She said with a small nod. "I'm actually kind of interested..."

"In what, in the strippers' share?" Gambit laughed.

"Sort of," Tabitha said, smiling. "Being a stripper for like one night would be a fun experience."

Remembering how well Tabitha could move, remembering what command she had of her body, Gambit had not the slightest doubt of that - at least for the watching party, it would sure be fun. "Yeah, many think that b'fore they step up to the pole. But if ya want, it can be easily arranged. We always have patrons who like a fresh... face."

Tabitha laughed. "I think I might give it a shot," she said excitedly.

Shade had received Gambit´s message when she had just been about to drive into the city for a little this and that shopping, already on her way to the bus. It was still somewhat of an unusual thing to go by bus again, something to get used to after having had the privilege of an own car for quite a time, but her habits usually picked some public transportation over a cab even though the latter was more comfortable. She had not gone back to the apartment building to check if the car was still of any use; it was better to follow Gambit´s example there and avoid the place.
It had been a few weeks since the incident, quite a long time during which she had not received any message from him ever since she had gone home from the place of this friend of his. She had missed him, of course she had, but she had kept telling herself that there was probably little use in putting overly much thought into it, since he was probably busy finding a new place to stay and making sure it was safe ... this didn´t mean however that she could switch off on missing him all those weeks, just as much as it didn´t leave a faint inner pout, but she had learned to deal with him being absent for a while every now and then, even though she did not particularly like those periodes being that long.
Shade was usually rather flexible and spontaneous about her plans so she had changed her idea about going to the city for some random shopping and taken another bus line that brought her closer to where the Hellfire was.
Entering the Club that was not too frequented at this time of the day she decided to just head over to the bar. Gambit would spot her if he was around, she was sure of that even though right now she couldn´t see him. She ordered a cool Coke, maybe an odd choice for it was getting more chilly outside recently, and settled down to wait, scanning the club´s familar environment as she did so.

Gambit couldn't notice Shade at this point since he wasn't looking to the side where the bar was. So for now he was simply continuing his chat with Tabitha.
"Seriously, though," he said with a chuckle, "I now feel kinda stupid for not offerin' it right away the moment ya stepped into de Club."

Tabitha laughed. "Well, we got busy," she said and then looked down at herself. "Nice to know I'm stripper material, though."

"Yeah, ya never know what might come in handy in life," Gambit agreed. "Mon pere used t' say that the more things ya try in life, the easier it gets."
