"Hm..." Shade said, leaning back. "doesn´t sound bad. As long as it´s not a too touristy place that is."

"Not in the classical sense," ::The Professor replied. Yes, it was suited to tourists, but it was not a classical "tourist trap," and much of the area's appeal was in the beauty.::

"Hm..." Shade mused, sitting down against the wall now with her hands losely draped across her knees. "That doesn´t sound too bad."

::The Professor folded his hands in his lap and nodded in agreement.:: "It is quite pleasant, actually, for a weekend getaway."

"Which is never a bad idea." Shade agreed with a nod, stretching her legs. "getaways are a good idea now and then, definitely."

::With that sentiment, the Professor whole-heartedly agreed. He tried to schedule them for his staff and students, whenever necessary.:: "They most certainly are. Although I imagine at the moment I sound like a travel agent."

Shade laughed at that. She didn´t mind at all, not right now that something trivial could take away the tension of the morning. And a random topic like this was about perfect for that, but she didn´t mention any of this. "Oh well," she remarked instead with a little shrug. "I can´t see anything wrong in that. You just know more places than I do."

::It was a pleasant and optimistic way of viewing conversation, and the Professor smiled softly in response.:: "That is a result of experience. Considering how well-traveled Remy is, soon enough you should be able to give me vacation tips."

Shade crooked half a smirk at that. He was true and wasn´t true with that. One never really knew where they would end up when being out somewher with Gambit and this spontanity was something she really appreciated. But then again being well-travelled also had to do somethig with him being a thief - and he didn´t involve her on his activities there. Tunisia had been the only big journey on that scale so far. "Well, I don´t have too much experience there yet" she said. "but the sahara is pretty impressive if you don´t mind getting sand in your shoes."

::The Professor nodded in agreement. He had traveled there several times over the decades of his life, and overall had pleasant memories of the experiences. Despite minor setbacks.:: "Also provided that you do not become lost."

His words about getting lost immidiately roused the memory of the kidnapping - a thought that, with the distance of time she was able to think about neutrally, therefore the mental images that came with it, the market, the warehouse, the running, were faint. She chuckled lightly. "Yeah." she said. "well, that´s the risk I guess."

::The impressions the Professor received from her, an immediate effect of his comment, were distressing, albeit distantly and a bit hazy. She had not come to him regarding any of it, and now was not the time to start on her.:: "Yes, it is part of the risk, I suppose."

Shade crooked a smile at that unaware that the Professor had caught on some of her memories. She had never told anyone about what had happened in Tunisia and the fact that she had not told the Professor had nothing to do with a lack of trust. It was just that things like that had always stayed between Gambit and her. Like Tunisia. Like what happened today would be something she wouldn´t pass on. His words fitted that strangely well and it made her smile. Part of the risk...

::The Professor decided it best to simply return the smile rather than comment on her thoughts. Everyone was entitled to her secrets, and barring the ability to have actual privacy, then each had a right to the illusion of privacy, which he upheld.::

Shade kept silent for a moment, trailing after her own thoughts which far too often for her taste strayed towards what had happened in the morning though. Therefore, she cut those thoughts short, deciding to go for her earlier strategy of deciding that there was nothing to worry about. Things had been sorted out just fine and a narow escape was still an escape. "Maybe we can have a history field trip sometime." she said after another moment, occupying herself with more practical thoughts. "I´m teaching ancient European cultures in my class this semester and maybe there´s a good exhibition or something around. The class isn´t too big so it wouldn´t need much coordination to get them there I guess."
