While he couldn't hear what was being said, he did just as she had said. He just hoped one way or another she would realize what the Brotherhood was really about.

[Husk]

"Yeah a little." Paige said with a tiny smile as she looked over at him briefly. "If ah woulda known there would've been rain ah would've been more prepared." She told him, her accent slipping briefly.

[Odin]

::Odin had dressed more appropriately for the weather conditions; he wore a windbreaker, and his hand went to the zipper.:: "Would you like to borrow the jacket?"

[Husk]

"Oh, no it's fine." Paige said, her cheeks going slightly red.

[Odin]

::Odin ignored the blush, and quirked his eyebrow, an assurance it was fine with him.:: "Are you sure?"

[Husk]

"I'm sure." Paige said before saying, "Thanks."

[Odin]

::Odin's hand moved from the zipper to the pockets of the windbreaker. His abilities didn't require touch, although he preferred to use them that way, and his hands confined didn't concern him.:: "You're welcome."

Maya stayed quiet and just looked around, glancing at all the people and seeing a few humans she wished she was never acquainted with. She flipped up the the hood on her red hoodie as it started to drizzle a bit and then bounced slightly on the tip of her boots.

[Morph]

(( *stares at 9 pages* whoa, I see the downside of my time zone again... ))

Morph saw Elias and made his way over, greeting the other man with a nod.

"Are you planning to take any interviews?" he asked.

[Avalanche]

It was very easy to get lost in the crowd, especially when Lance had been simply staring around with no particular purpose, but when he caught sight of John and his teammates, he quickly made his way over to them.

"Hey everyone," he greeted when he reached them.

(( OOC: I think it's best to assume Avalanche has already met, even if briefly, most of the Brotherhood, otherwise it won't make much sense. ))

[Golem]

"Yeah." Elias gave back, his eyes scanning over the crowd habitually. More and more people were arriving, a lot of them young, probably people in their late teens and twens. "Either that or have a look around first of all, see what´s going in and then hope to catch the one or other opinion." Observing was all for now, he thought. People didn´t stand around on their own, there were groups here and there, clustering in their midsts.

[Morph]

Morph nodded. "And make sure you also catch somebody from the organizers, or if some important face shows up, like some senator or something, 'cause it would be better to see things from all sides."

[Golem]

Golem nodded. "Will do." he said. It was good Morph could give him input like this. He was still new to the job and tended to forget about some things. "Did you spot anyone interesting already?" he asked.

[stjohn]

Upon Maya and Avalanche's arrivals, the Brotherhood was for the most part there. Lucy, John decided, was a big girl, and if she wanted to hang around, she could. He had remained quiet, his eyes still looking over the large group, that was still growing. The religious group was slowly starting there own protest against mutants.

As the rain continued to fall, he did his best to ignore it. His jaw clenched, John turned towards the group. "Do your best to spread out, alright? I would say go in teams of two, but then we'd only have about 2 f*cking teams." John added in a mumble, before continuing. "Aim your damn powers over towards the religious d*ckheads, and do your best to stir up the larger crowd." Looking around again, he thought he spotted the familiar white and brown hair, but at the same time, forced himself to not think about it. "And get the hell out of here, if anything major starts to happen. The last thing we need, is for any of us to get arrested."

(Sorry about my lack of posts. Got dragged out to the store, and then I had a migraine, but now I'm back!)

[Morph]

"Not much," Kevin said. "I'm mostly watching how things develop." He smirked with some bitterness. "I wish I had a camera with me the last time an event like this happened here..."
