Hearing someone speak to him, John turned to the man, a scowl on his face, as instinctively he moved towards Astral, his eyes still slightly squinted against the light. Not answering the man, he sent a flame in his direction.

"John," she cried somewhat weakly as she saw some mutants running towards them, the woman looking ready to fight. She kept her light glowing strong, to keep the angrier humans back so they weren't mobbed.

As another punch knocked him off his feet this time, Lance knew he had to get away. He didn't stand a chance fighting against two at once, especially since the man looked like a serious opponent. He scrambled onto his feet and dashed off into the crowd, making the ground behind him shake heavily to make the woman and her companion lose their footing.

"I- I've got this handled." John mumbled to Astral, a frown on his face, as he grabbed hold of her arm with his free hand. Sending another flame towards the man, and the blonde, whom John faintly recognized, he began moving back, hoping to get lost in the large, chaotic crowd.

::Odin did what he did best, dodge out of the way. The windbreaker offered a bit of protection, and the drizzle a bit of cover to tamp down the flames, although not enough to save him should he find himself in the way. His mind worked quickly to find a way behind Pyro to get to the girl. His eyes remained forward, although he spoke to Paige.:: "You'll be fine if I run around them and left you here?"

"Yeah, but will you be?" She asked with worry, unphased by John throwing flames at her she just shook her head. "It's people like you who give mutants a bad name!" She shouted at him in anger.

Eclipse wasn't all that surprised to find things getting chaotic quickly. He saw Astral be clearly convinced by John to use her powers. With the humans getting angry, that was it for him. John could do whatever the hell he wanted, but when his friend was dragged into, that wasn't right. When Odin and Paige began running towards them, so did he. "Astral!" he shouted as loud as he could over the chaotic scene.

Things were getting worse by the minute, and if there was anything that could make a situation like this worse, it was panicking and she was getting close. "John! We need to get out of here!" she cried, nearing tears as she remained pressed against him, feeling confused and scared.

"I've been through worse," ::Odin assured her with a smirk. He stepped back a bit, to move around the flames. Then he broke into a run; he could navigate through this easily. Upon hearing that man from earlier cry a name, growing closer, he knew that had to be hers. All the better, as he could mimic it.:: "Astral, get out of there!"

Typhoid sighed a little, stumbling and weaving to keep her balance. "I could track him, but since he's running away..." she said to Logan.

The ground shook as Avalanche took off, causing Logan to stumble. The shake of the earth went straight through his adamantium skeleton and he was knocked off his feet quite heavily. "F*ck," he cursed as he pushed back up onto his knees. "You ok?" he shot at Ty.

"Just- f*cking calm down, okay?!" John told Astral, though the sharp tone of his voice wasn't about to help. Taking a deep breath, he ignored the various shouts in their direction. "Look, I can- I'll hold them back, if you want to get out of here- Find Maya or- Lucy, or someone-" He added, sending more flames in various directions, in hopes to keep the people back.

It was confusing for so many to be shouting at her at once. One man was telling her to get out, but she didn't know him. She then saw Eclipse running closer, but she didn't know what for exactly. When John suggested that she went, she shot him a look. "I said I wasn't going to leave you!" she snapped tearfully.
