"I don't care, and it's not like it's going to matter in a minute anyways," Ty replied to Logan, less irritation and more urgency in her voice. She repeated what she'd heard Odin say earlier. "Some of us are going to have to protect the crowd."
She heard a voice over the din, saw Odin mouthing something and pointing to another mutant. Her brow furrowed, she couldn't hear him, but she knew Odin's powers. The guy Odin was pointing to was causing the earthquakes. "Logan," she said, pointing as well. "That guy's the one shaking things up."

"I'm not leaving you, you idiot," she snapped, slapping him mildly on the arm. She couldn't help but feel all het up at this.

Maya watched as the crowd shouted and started getting rowdy. She would have loved to send a few protesters to hell, but that wasn't her job at the moment. She saw John getting closer to the religious freaks shooting off flames and she started to etch closer as well from the back, stumbling a bit as the ground vibrated. She stayed still from then on, blending in with the religious creeps and making sure she didn't lose her cool, while they shouted.

With his hearing, Logan had heard Odin just as clearly and turned round with Ty to see whom Odin was indicating. "And some of us are gonna have to deal with the lackeys."

Elias had instinctively ducked when the earth had started to shake, feeling the disturbance in the stone molecules around them like a current through his nerves for a moment. Morph was right, he agreed, this was getting too dangerous and it wasn´t worth the risk. He gave a brief nod and with a last look at the crowd turned to follow Morph away from the centre of protest.

::Odin hoped that Morph had gotten out before the masses began to riot. He had a boy at home to care for. And Golem too, because although he was a traveler as Odin was, not everyone lived off the thrill of powers in action. This was neither the time nor the place, however, and he'd reached the end of his patience. Which wasn't the best situation in a crowd of other mutants, because if his concentration slipped...he could thank Laudine Piercefield for the power lapses, as always.
The students and Wolverine went off in one direction, and he went off in the direction of the other. They had to minimize the bad press, otherwise any hope in this election was lost. Odin couldn't stand idly by and allow that to happen. Reaching into his pocket, he began to search for his press pass, if only to get those cameras turned off.::

Avalanche had no idea he was being discussed, he was mostly looking at the crowd and adding more tremors to the ground. That should probably even cause them to scatter a bit, he thought, keeping things to a mischievous minimum so far.

"You pick," Ty quipped to Logan in gallows humor, her back to the protesters, facing the crowd and the Brotherhood members. The others would have to make a move before she would, though she didn't power down. Which was a better idea anyways, considering.

Paige had been staying behind Logan until now. Hearing Ty point out the guy who had just caused the small earthquake her eyes narrowed slightly. "This just couldn't go peacefully, could it?" Paige muttered. Now she was trying to think of a plan.

"Or shall we just all deal with that one first?" he quipped back, since the crowd wasn't at its worse yet.

::The protesters were angry and confused, as there seemed to be a power struggle with the flame-throwing mutant and someone who glowed. Then there was the green woman shouting at them, which only served to further rile them. They'd shouted, certainly, but they hadn't used violence; they didn't deserve this chaos. The ground shook, and they began to shake as well, trying to keep upright.
The earthquake caught the attention of the reporters, who began to spread out. Some to get better footage of the flames, some to find the source of the earthquake, and others to get reaction footage.::

"Three against one?" Ty raised an eyebrow, including Husk in her comment. "Nasty odds, those."

Smirking slightly at Astral, he then gave a nod. "Well, then show off your glowworm skills." He added, scanning the crowd and catching sight of Wolverine, along with a few people he faintly recognized, all, who John assumed were tied to Xavier's someway. John had no doubts that they would try and stop the Brotherhood, which could choose to be hard, if they couldn't see. "If your bright enough, it might get those f*cking cameras to back off."

Astral sighed shakily as she looked towards the camera's, realising some were focused on them. "Fine," she whispered, not looking at all sure about this, for she only used her powers alone and not in situation like this. She extended both hands, orbs of light gathering from her glow. They they burst out towards the camera crew, seeping inside the mechanism and exploding. The flash of light would burnt out their entire recording footage and make the cameras and footage useless. she didn't realise how her actions might be interpreted either by the humans or the X-Men.

Paige smiled a little before looking over towards John, "I can take care of him." She told Logan and Ty.
