::Odin was not so far apart from the rest of the group that he didn't hear the Wolverine's utterance. He turned to where the Brotherhood members had been, only to find them gone, skulking about. With his free hand, he rubbed his eyes, glasses lifted as he did.
He didn't have a particularly strong temper; a sharp-wit which he exercised regularly helped to keep him otherwise amused or intrigued, when others were moved to anger. There were three issues which set him off: Blatant, violent acts of human supremacy and mutant oppression. Personal attacks along one particular issue of his life. And finally, violence of mutant to mutant, particular when it would make them look bad in the press. If the Brotherhood set off a peaceful rally while he was here...he sighed softly, dropped his hand to his side, and finished with the call.:: "I take it back; I'm almost sure they're planning something. If you can get to a vantage point, that's fine, but if you and Golem can get out of the midst of it, do. And take this as serious or not if you will, but if you know the name of a bondsman, keep it in mind."
::Odin moved the telephone to a crook in his neck, so he could turn back to the group he'd been standing with. Rain splattered the top of his head from the drizzle. His amusement had begun to evaporate quite quickly. He spoke more loudly to get their attention.:: "I don't know if you're in the business of acting first, but between fire, seismic activity, and heart-stopping touch, this is going to get ugly."

Paige smiled a little Odin before he excused himself. Staying quiet she looked over in Logan's direction as he spoke up. "Great." She said with a sigh, getting the feeling she would have to use her powers soon. "Has anyone seen Professor Xavier? I believe he said he was coming here."

Lucy:
"You're not just leaving me here, John!" She said before moving to catch up to them. She'd be useless without a mutant by her side, in case something were to happen.

Hearing Lucy's voice, John continued to make his way over towards the crowd of religious people. He assumed Astral was behind him, and a quick glance over his shoulder proved that he was right. "Luce, just get out of here!" He called, frowning with slight frustration as he neared the end of the crowd that was blocking them from the religious people.

"If they're splitting, so should we," Logan muttered as he looked back over the crowd stood with him. It was hardly the X-Men, but hopefully they could put up a good defence if they needed to.

Astral looked round as Lucy followed them, giving her a polite smile before she looked back ahead again. At John's words, she spoke up. "John, maybe it'd be better if we had some humans here who are on our side?"

Avalanche pushed through the crowd, totally passing for an innocent bystander for a while. He didn't have a single feature in his appearance that gave off he was a mutant, and would often use it to his advantage. Look here, an ordinary guy standing, look there, a wall goes CRRRUMM... That added so much fun to it.
He saw the group of the religious fanatics; it seemed to have increased twice since he had arrived, due to various other anti-mutant activists joining in the protest. The more, the better, he smirked.
Now if only he could get himself a better spot to better coordinate his powers on that crowd, things would be perfect.

"Which way do you want to go?" She asked Logan.

"She's on our side yeah, but this place is bound to get crazy. We at least can defend ourselves, along with all the other mutants here. Lucy, can't." John explained to Astral in a mumbled tone, before glancing briefly back at Lucy, before he then made it further towards the end of the crowd.
Using the cover of the crowd of mutants, John flicked open the lighter that was permentally attached to the cuff on his wrist. Spotting the tallest of the protest signs, He bit his lip in concentration, before sending an arch of fire through the air, over the heads of the people, before it reached the sign.

"Okay, gotcha," Kevin said. The rain was beginning to get really annoying, so, ignoring the fact that he was open in public, he morphed into having a hooded jacket, he even tried to make it as waterproof as possible and succeeded.
Switching the phone off, he turned to Elias. "Odin called," he informed the other man. "He said there were the Brotherhood nearby and that they are planning some nasty action. They've got fire, earthquakes and, uh, death touch or something at their disposal, Odin suggests we got out of here." He made a skeptical face. "You think we should?" He glanced at the crowd, things did look like something was stirring up and he thought he didn't want to miss it.
And then he saw an arch of fire going over the crowd, as if a confirmation of his words.

"They were eyeing up that religious lot," Logan muttered as he scanned the area, trying to find particular Brotherhood members. They had become hidden in the crowds now. "Just go round the edges, they're intergratin' at the moment," he responded when Husk asked him her question. His attention was caught by the sudden arc of fire. "Sh*t, I spoke too soon. C'mon," he said, turning from the mutants and setting off into the crowd.

Lucy:
"That doesn't make me useless." Lucy muttered, even though she really was rather useless. When he sent fire up into the air, Lucy reacted quickly by covering her head.

Astral gave up at that and fell silent, just continuing to walk with John and making sure to keep close so she didn't become separated. When she saw him lift his hand, she watched with confusion before he suddenly let out flames over the crowd. "John!" she exclaimed in shock, grabbing onto his arm.

Elias followed Morph´s glance. The crowd seemed to be getting into a mood by now and things looked like they would be far from calm. But if anything, he knew he was not helpless either, very well able to protect himself even against heavier powers as long as there was enough stone of any sort around. And that was almost always the case. He could sense it clearly. "We should be careful." he said, rain dripping into his face. "but I don´t think we should leave already. We´d miss out what´s going on."

::Very rarely did Odin regret concentrating most of his education on science, as opposed to language. Being shocked was one of those times that brought him regret, as being profane in English was undignified. However, when the arch of flame lit the sky, he couldn't help himself.:: "Son of a-"
::There were mutant families here, mutant children who all wanted to show humans that they wanted equal rights and meant no inherent harm. Shutting off his cellular and slipping it back into his pocket. The press was here; they needed to keep the crowd under control. Not before election time; what mutant could do this to his own people? The Wolverine had left, so he spoke to the others still remaining.:: "We need to keep the crowd calm."
