::The sandwich was helping Odin's mood, insofar as he had needed something to fill his stomach, and the irritability borne from hunger had passed.:: "Such as parenting or superheroism?"

"Somethin' like that," she agreed with a wry sort of expression before she went back to her sandwich.

::Odin took another bite of his sandwich before setting it down. His heart wasn't quite in the banter, but it was welcome all the same, as a form of distraction.:: "We could adopt, before that right is taken from as. As for superheroism, I have the name of an agency, if you're interested."

Stacy laughed quietly at that. "Oh, sure. We'd be model parents. I can see it now."

"Granted, we wouldn't be traditional, but we wouldn't be so bad," ::Odin countered, for the sake of argument. He was in no position to rear children at this time of his life, if he ever would be at all.:: "We would home-school them and I could teach science, history, and math."

"Mmhm," she sounded, looking amused. "What am I teaching them exactly? I'm not sure I'm pure enough for their innocent little minds."

::Odin quirked his eyebrow at her; it had been quite some time since he'd been implied to be "pure.":: "You could teach them English and deal with their emotional trauma."

She smirked a little before nodding her head, drinking some more of the gin. Though their words had been in jest, it made her think. "I wonder how many humans have given up their newborns because they had a DNA test," she said softly.

::This new train of thought causes Odin's expression to sober, and he lost what mirth he'd built up the past few minutes. His abilities would never grant him the ability to know how many mutants were lost, and he hadn't seen a study on the topic yet. He, however, knew one thing about it.:: "Far too many."

She shook her head slightly at that thought. "For that, we're adopting mutant children," she told him matter-of-factly, like this had been a serious decision, of course, there remained an element of teasing in her tone.

"Of course we are," ::Odin considered that a given. Mutants were in need of homes, with how so many were cast aside by their families. His abilities would help them find a mutant child easily, if this were serious, which it were not.:: "

Stacy gave a short nod, pulling her plate closer towards her as she finished off the remainder of her sandwich.

::Odin took another bite of his sandwich, and then washed it down; he was two-thirds finished, which might be as much progress as he would make with it.:: "Perhaps one with glasses and who is on crutches."

::Odin took another sip of gin to wash the taste of turkey and cheese from his mouth.:: "Who would need a home more than a child like that?"
