::Odin nodded as though in agreement.:: "It's settled, then."

She also nodded, then bringing the mug back to her lips and draining the rest of the contents.

((OOC: This occurs upon their return from "Market at Union Square."))
::The shopping trip had overall been a success. Stacy had found outfits that wouldn't invited unwanted attention, and wouldn't serve to remind her of her former profession. Odin had purchased enough groceries to last them both for the next week and a half. However, the encounter with Paige and her sister Melody remained in his thoughts.
Upon reaching the apartment, he brought the groceries into the kitchen, where Stacy could either join him or change. He was accustomed to doing all of his chores and errands alone.::

Stacy stepped into the apartment behind him, carrying her own bags of clothes. Since the encounter, she had not mentioned it again, and pretty much put it out of her mind. While Odin went into the kitchen to sort out his groceries, she went towards her bedroom to unpack and hang up her new clothes.

::If "curious" and "smug" were two words which came to mind when describing Odin, "methodical" had to be a third. After setting the bags down, he went through the paces of first removing the refrigerator goods: milk, eggs, cheese, and putting them away to cool.::

Now that all her clothes were out, Stacy felt like getting changed. She shut her bedroom door so Odin didn't come wandering past before she had a look through her new outfits. She changed within a few minutes and after tying her hair up into a ponytail, stepped out to go and see if Odin wanted any help. "Ta-dah!" she sang as she entered the kitchen, posing for a moment as if to show off her new clothes, which were a lot more pleasant that her old ones. That didn't mean they weren't form-fitting, nor that the top wasn't completely concealing the top of her chest, but Stacy's motto was quite simply; if you've got it, flaunt it. She just needed to learn to flaunt it in a more subtle way than she used to.

::Odin had been in the middle of sticking the new container of butter onto the door when she entered. He lifted his head to see that she had changed.:: "I'll give you my stamp of approval."

Stacy smiled brightly, then giving a little twirl for effect to show off her simple top and jeans. "Thanks," she said, before coming over to the carrier bags. "Do you want any help?"

::Odin would tend to the produce in his own way, but there were a number of non-refrigerator items, including the bread and other grains.:: "Could you put the bread and cereal away? I have a cereal cupboard and a breadbox."

"Sure," she said, searching for the correct bag before she carried it over to the larder, setting it on the nearby counter-top. She pulled out the loaves of bread and went into the larder to put them in the breadbox, then coming out to search for the cereal cupboard.

::Odin went around the kitchen, setting aside the bananas and the stone fruit, which he wouldn't refrigerate. And then put the apples and citrus in his rarely used vegetable crisper.:: "Where did you meet Paige?"

After searching a few cupboards, she found the one for the cereal and began to stack the new boxes inside. She glanced round in surprise at his bluntness, for she had expected it to not be talked about. "On the street. Why?"

"I've never seen her that angry," ::Odin remarked, as he placed the remaining fruit into the crisper. He could say the same about Stacy, although he'd known her for less than a full day, and the statement was meaningless.::

"Maybe she's hidin' a real temper," she suggested with a casual shrug, nudging the cupboard door shut.
