Gambit bit down on her fingers.

Shade gave a little yelp, more from surprise than pain and tried hard to stiffle a giggle. "Now will you behave already?" she said with feigned aggravation. "Biting a lady in the finger, really."

"Gambit's kinky in de ways ya can't imagine, chere," Gambit replied. They reached the bike, and he got his helmet on again.

"Oh poor brain of mine." Shade said, let her powers slip, rolled her eyes dramatically and put her helmet back on before she climbed onto the bike.

"If I been feelin' real bad, I'd say, 'Quoi?! Ya got a brain?!' But I'm nice an' all," Gambit teased, feeling too mischievous from being back to his thieving business. "I'll save it for when we be breakin' up." He started the bike.

Shade punched him on the shoulder playfully, but a little stronger than usual because she knew Gambit would not feel much through the costume. "Nice and all, yeah." she said. "Shade will keep nice behaviour in mind for later. If she feels like it then."

Gambit smirked. "Oh, she's so unpredictable..."
The bike carried them off to the next target.

Shade didn´t know how long it took them till they reached a road near where they had seen the Corvett come to a halt earlier that day. 20 minutes, maybe a little longer or shorter, she couldn´t tell. The night wind had gotten a little cooler but not cold and the wind against her clothes made the odd und unusual feeling of anticipation even a little stronger.
Again, they parked a good deal away from the house of the car´s owner and hid the bike in the shadows of some tall trees.

"We'll be more lucky here," Gambit said. "No garage. Must be an alarm, den. Can ya take a look if dere's alarm?"

Shade nodded. "How can I tell there is one and are there any tricks for hidden alarms?" she asked.

"De alarm usually has a small red light flashin' near de windshield or de back window," Gambit said. "Don' expect anythin' hidden. I don't want dis t' get complicated, we're doin' it only for fun, it ain't an initiation task or somethin'."

Shade smiled at the last bit of this. She didn´t know what had made her agree to this, or not agree, rather catch up on it and chose stealing instead of buying. She knew she was head strong enough to say no to it... if she ha wanted to and wondered what had triggered her curiosity. Was it merely the fact that thieving started to be an interesting thing when one dated a thief? Or was it that little unknow part of her that still lingered in the back of her mind ever since the accident and that urged her on, telling her to have a little fun with things like these as life was so short? She didn´t know.
She gave Gambit a little smirk, vanished and made her way towards the Corvett. It was parked right in front of the house but the front door was on the other end and thus not directly in side of the car. She walked around, looking for an alarm and found a little blinking light. "Yep." she said into her headset which she had readjusted by now. "Has an alarm."

"Merveilleux," Gambit said, walking over to her and getting several things off his belt. "Stay how you are. I'll take it from here."

Shade did as he told her, moving to the side a little so Gambit could move closer to the car but keeping her powers up, watching what he was doing.

Gambit glanced at the alarm sticker, studied the fittings inside and the sensor with the beeping light. The make was familiar... and lame. Using a screwdriver, Gambit forced the nearest quarter-window out, then got a pair of plyers and some scotch and, after a series of not too tricky manipulations, disabled the alarm that was blinking next to the windshield. "De car is yours," Gambit said, stepping aside. "Get in an' see if dere are keys anywhere near. An' keep away from de horn."
