Remy paid a visit to his apartment, left his things there, changed and, after having a breakfast in a place not far from where he lived, went to the Hellfire Club.
He was the first to arrive, so he busied himself with everything right away. He accessed all computers from his main one to see how things were in terms of business; everything remained absolutely as it had been before he left five days ago. Seemed those were the good news.
As soon as his staff began to arrive, he started asing how things were and if somebody had inquired about him during his absence - who they were and what they looked like.
There had been a few shady types to whom the staff had given no answers at all, and then there had been a woman who had called herself White Queen. The named clicked something inside Gambit's memory, and he made a mental note to check stuff on her.
Which would happen only after he made a few modifications to access into his club.
