Shade sat up as well, her legs stretched out, wriggling her toes, supporting her body with her arms. "I think I could need a shower before eating." she said, watching Gambit. "Race you?"

Gambit lazily turned around to glance at the shower door, then back at Shade. "A race, for six feet?" he made a wry face. "Let's save it for when it's at least thirty."

"Six feet seemed perfect for my lazy mood." Shade gave back with a smirk, then got up and walked towards the shower, tousling Gambit´s hair briefly when she walked past him.

Gambit dragged himself off the bed, more being magnetically drawn after Shade's naked sexiness walking past than doing it consciously. "God help me..." he muttered, smirking at himself.

Shade tossed a look over her shoulder when she heard Gambit´s murmuring and grinned at him, almost bumping into the sink while looking back. It made her giggle for no reason as she just in time managed to do a step aside.

Gambit snickered as well, reaching her and grabbing her around the waist. "Watch where ya goin'," he advised, "or you might trip, fall an' end up spread-eagled on de floor right under me."

Shade craned her head to look at him, a sheepish grin on her face. "And that would be a bad thing?" she asked before leaning forward slightly to put the shower on without making attempts to step away from him.

Shade looked down and patted the floor with a foot as if she was testing whether it was solid. "Indeed it is." she said looking up at Gambit like she had just found out something weird. "Good thing I got caught in time then."

"Bien sure," Gambit grinned. He raised her slightly and put her under the shower. "Dat's what I'm for, t' catch ya when ya fall."

Shade gave him a happy smile feeling somewhat giddy, but in a good way that made her feel completely content. The warm water splashing down on her had some lulling effect which for a short moment reminded her body of how weary she was. "Such service..." she said while the water was pouring over her face and partly into her eyes. She blinked it away. "I have to reward that." She leant away from the shower and gave Gambit a kiss on the lips.

Without breaking the kiss, Gambit got under the shower as well, leaning his body against hers.

Shade did a small step backwards to make room for him. The shower cabin wasn´t too big but she didn´t mind. The water kept running and she closed her eyes to keep it out of her eyes, one hand slowly roaming over Gambit´s chest as if washing and caressing him at the same time.

Leaning away from her for a moment, Gambit got a bottle of shower gel and squeezed some onto his palm, then rubbed his hands together and ran them over Shade's shoulders and chest.

Shade took the bottle from him before he placed it aside and started to wash Gambit´s arms and stomach, taking her time to do so. She grabbed for a sponge and soaked it under the water before drawing slow circles across Gambit´s chest, rinsing the shower gel.
