Do drugs or can drugs effect a mutant's powers and if so how do you think it would effect them?

It would depend on the drug or the mutant power in question. For instance, Omen has been taking drugs that have extended the range of her visions.
Enhanced metabolism or healing factors could offer protections to drugs. For intance, caffeine is terrible for Pietro but his liver metabolizes alcohol so quickly as to prevent him from becoming inebriated.
What did you have in mind? Or was this a general question?

Kinda both. I've been curious about what happens to mutants if they ever did drugs, but I've also been working on a character for a while.
she got into a lot of trouble in her teens causing her to be a recovering addict, but i'm trying to write her history and get more in detail about what happened to her, but I didn't know if street drugs effected a mutant's powers in causing them to work unexpectedly or amplify their ability or something like that.
