Name: Alex Summers
Age: 24
Height: 6'
Weight: 175 lbs (80 kg)
Eyes: brown
Hair: blond
Powers: Havok absorbs ambient cosmic energy (such as starlight, x-rays, and gamma radiation) into the cells of his body and processes it into plasma. He uses this energy to shoot or emanate plasma in the form of a blast or discharge, with a tell-tale concentric circle pattern. The sudden vast jump in temperature will often cause objects to shatter, explode, or seemingly disintegrate. With this energy at the lowest level, he can project it towards a human being and his target will suffer a severe headache but will not burn up.
Side-effects of his powers: immunity to heat and radiation. For genetic reasons, Scott and Alex don't affect each other with their powers.
Personality: Alex is a lively, energetic person, but with effort and diligence when needed. Believes in human/mutant peaceful co-existence and is willing to work for it. He and Scott don't always see eye to eye after having been out of contact for many years. Alex is more prone to action and reaction than to careful planning and strategies.
Background/History: When Alex and Scott's parents died in a plane crash, the boys were recovered and put into an orphanage. Alex was later adopted into the Blanding family, who were trying to replace their lost son by this adoption. Years later, Scott found him and Alex returned to using Summers as his last name.
After graduating from high-school, he decided to continue his studies in college, hoping eventually to get a degree. At the time of his graduation from Bachelor's studies, the need for training and mastering his powers, as well as his curiosity towards the X-Men and fighting for the good cause, made him interested in the Institute, at which point Scott invited him to come over to Westchester.
In-game history: After coming to the Institute, Havok was given a P.E. class and divided his leisure time between sports, the lab and preparation for a possible X-Men duty. He struck a friendship with Weaver and, after a series of events leading through his first visit to the Hellfire Club, combined with a mind illusion, and some lab experiments, became involved with Gravity.
