It started as a rumor.
Omen made one phone call, to a contact in the city. She didn't need to say more then three words. "Spread the message." The contact understood.
It took a few weeks. The rumor spread and grew, sometimes a little out of proportion, but never losing the central message. It was passed by word of mouth, through e-mail and chat and text message, through telepathic link. Those with a wider timesense or stronger telepathy then most felt it more then read it, but it had urgency to it, even though it was a simple message. Some might have been tempted to disregard it, but the way it was often delivered made many take another look. Signs about it began showing up along streets, posted in message boards.
The world was about to change. It would begin in Hellfire. And if you wanted to know why, you'd come.
