She would not press the issue, as he didn't seem to feel like talking about it. "It's a nice place; I grew up there with my brother." Perhaps that was why she was so reluctant to leave it, now that they were living in the States.

"It is," Wanda said. "Though a home isn't always readily available," she suggested sagely. She could only vaguely remember the time spent with the Maximoffs, and they had moved around, and several times while she and Pietro were abroad they were unable to find lodging.

"But I live there again," Wanda said with a shrug. Things came full circle for her, she supposed. "And aside from work, I also help babysit Uncle's child. Have you met her yet?" She asked curiously. Abigail was quite adorable; Wanda loved her like she would her own child. She was under the assumption that he still kept in regular contact with Uncle, and would have at least heard about Abigail's birth.

::Karl gave her a look of surprise at the mention of Xavier having a child. Considering how old the man had been when Karl had been a student...he was surely too old to have a child, particularly one that needed babysitting.:: "No, I haven't. I didn't realize he had a kid."

"Oh," Wanda spoke with surprise. "Yes, well...He has a daughter now, a toddler." She did not want to speak about Abigail's mother, as she had a nonexistent relationship with Mystique. Anything she did with Abigail she either went to Uncle or spoke briefly with the other woman in monosyllable sentences. "I thought maybe you had kept in touch with him."

::That was quite shocking. A toddler? At Xavier's age? However, it was hardly any of Karl's business, anymore than it was his business how the child had come about.:: "I haven't seen him since I was a student, so I didn't know."
