Taking A Walk(Closed)

[jodie]

Jodie looked from the dog and back at him again when he said that he didn't believe he'd have much of a problem if a dog attempted to attack him. Eyes narrowing slightly when his own started to spark she felt her jaw tighten. She didn't say anything as she moved past him, intending on leaving.

[Michael Kenyon]

When she started past him he got slightly annoyed."Oh, come on," He said turning to stop her. "I wouldn't really hurt the dog" Michael was just making a point, he hadn't meant to make her mad.

[jodie]

Jodie stopped when he turned around to face her, but she didn't turn to face him fully. However, after he told her that really wouldn't hurt the dog she did turn to look at him. "Oh really? Then why would you say that?" She asked, not believing him.

[Michael Kenyon]

"I was trying to prove a point" His adrenaline started to kick up and he felt his electricity building inside him. "I didn't think you'd get so touchy about it"

[jodie]

Jodie raised an eyebrow when he told her that he was just trying to prove a point. "That your an ass? Well I think we've established that." Jodie said in a bitter tone. She was very protective over animals, so you could say she was sensitive when it came to people threatening to hurt them in a way that dogs and other animals could not protect themselves against. "Really? Well then, you're less intelligent than I thought." Okay maybe insulting his intelligence was a little low, but he was not on her good side right now.

[Michael Kenyon]

Okay maybe he deserved that one. He was being a jerk to her. When she continued though he found his anger rising. "What do you want me to say?" His voice started to rise. He hadn't meant to push her buttons. He was just trying to show that he was powerful. Electricity started to spark from his right hand which started to shake as he tried to control his emotions.

[jodie]

"Nothing." She said when he asked her what she wanted him to say, "I was trying to walk away if you didn't notice." Jodie explained before she turned on her heel and intended to walk off. Hopefully this time she could.

[Michael Kenyon]

Michael didn't know what possessed him but he reached out in an attempt to grab her arm, forgetting that his powers were still active. "Hey! I'm sorry, okay?"

[jodie]

Just as she got about half a foot away from him she felt a small charge of electricity on her arm, making her jump in surprise and the slightest and briefest of pain. "Let go of me." She said as she yanked her arm back in attempt to let him release his grip on her.

[Michael Kenyon]

He released her instantly, feeling really bad for hurting her. "I...I didn't mean..." He started to stutter his anger disappearing and concern replacing it.

[jodie]

Jodie scowled when he took his hand off of her. Seriously, what was his deal? One minute he was being a complete ass and now he's acting like he actually cares. "What's your problem?"

[Michael Kenyon]

"My problem!?! You're the one taking what was suppose to be a joke, personally."Michael didn't mean to hurt her, but she was starting to make him rather annoyed. Women. "I'm sorry about hurting you and joking about hurting a dog but honestly, how many people do you know would actually harm a dog on purpose?"

[jodie]

Jodie was silent when he told her that she was the one taking what was supposed to be a joke so personally. "A lot, actually." Jodie told him when he asked how many people she knew that would purposefully harm a dog.

"Well I wouldn't," He honestly wouldn't hurt an animal and would hurt anyone that did. Human or mutant he hated animal abusers. "And I guarantee you, I'd be the first one to punish someone that did"
