::Pietro passed one of the other cars, and changed lanes.:: "Once you fill out the form, the hearing can be rescheduled. They're kinder on first changes than on second ones."

She absorbed that; it wasn't exactly the information she'd expected. "Maybe."

::Name changes were a personal affair, but this was her choice, and not Pietro's; he acknowledged that, and it was why the information he imparted was impersonal.:: "It is your decision. If you have second thoughts, you shouldn't do it. But for what it might be worth, I don't think it a bad idea."

She turned to look at him curiously, momentarily sidetracked. "Why wouldn't I think your opinion is important?"

"Because it shouldn't be," ::Pietro replied matter-of-factly. He did not turn his head, as he had to watch the road ahead.:: "Your name is your own."

"It is," she said, nodding a little. "But you're the only one I can talk to...about anything like this." It was true. No other person that she knew of in the Mansion could quite understand her situation, both as a twin and a victim of a biological family she didn't want.

"I will talk," ::Pietro told her. If she needed someone to listen, he was here for that. However, he would not allow her to make his opinion matter in a greater capacity.::

She acknowledged that with a nod of her head. "Is it paranoid of me to wonder how much information Mina got out of my head that day? If she could find me if I used the name she knows as mine?"

"Not paranoid," ::Pietro assured her. Considering what he had to concern himself with given his relations, he did not think it was paranoid to think that. However, as irritating a person as Mina had been, and as unlikely a candidate she was for any award based on common decency, she had not struck Pietro as psychotic and obsessed. She had seemed more inclined to wash his hands of Rossignol, unaware of the treasure she had willingly lost.:: "But, I do not think she would."

"I hope not." Typhoid shifted uncomfortably at the thought. "She had no scruples about digging in my head."

"She has no scruples," ::Pietro agreed, as one had to lack scruples to abandon family. But that was not the point he wished to make, particularly as Rossignol was well aware of that fact.:: "She has no hunter's instinct."

"Hunter's instinct?" It was an odd thing to say about her so-called family member.

"To chase after you," ::Pietro clarified his earlier statement.::

"Only if she wanted me dead, maybe," Ty replied, understanding now.

"I do not think she does," ::Pietro told her. Mina had seemed more apathetic to Rossignol's survival than he could have expected of an individual supposedly saner than Magneto.::
