((Takes place before Out For Coffee))
Although it wasn't something Ororo wanted to think about, as the weeks passed, her illness grew worse. She used a cane constantly now, and woke having to lay in bed for almost an hour until the muscles in her body unfroze. It made her aware of how much she needed to get her affairs in order, a thought both nauseating and painful, but necessary nonetheless.
Pietro had offered to go with her, and although her attachment to the Professor was strong, she considered Pietro the better choice. He could be more pragmatic, at times, and that is what she needed in order to maintain emotional calm.
Pietro had driven her to Brooklyn, to the law offices of Lewis and Hand, LLC. They'd come recommended, and she needed someone well versed in estate law to make this as easy as possible.
They drove up to an office building on a relatively-for New York, anyways-nondescript street filled with similar buildings.

::Pietro was doing what he could to remain calm, always a difficult task when he drove. It was no secret to anyone who knew him that he detested traffic. However, he had promised to take Ororo here for this...necessary task; he was only beginning to accept the necessity of the matter. He would have run her in, but if she could stand that, they would not be here.
It took him three trips down the same block to find an available parking space; usually, he would park farther and walk, but Ororo used a cane now, and he did what he could to accommodate her. He also refused to let her off and meet her, because he worried about her potentially falling. Finally parking, he exited the vehicle and stood by, should she need him.::

She opened the door and got out herself, without needing assistance, although it was much slower going then the woman who'd strode down the gangplank of the Blackbird at Wideawake. She felt like an invalid, and detested it.
Her balance relatively firm, she turned to Pietro, gesturing. "This is their building. The third floor, I think."

::Pietro nodded solemnly. The last time he had been present at an attorney's office, in fact the only time, had been his name change upon reaching the age of majority. That had been simple; this was more complex, and far more sobering.:: "Who are we meeting?"

"An attorney named Lyle Drake," she replied, taking his business card from her pocket with her free hand.

::Pietro nodded again; he would likely do this for most of their afternoon. He did not remark on his opinion of the name "Lyle," although it was not a favorable one.::

She caught the look on his face at the name; she'd known him too long to miss it. "What, his name?"

::Rather than nod, Pietro repeated the name; it was confirmation.:: "Lyle."

She had to smirk a little as she began walking up the street. "Try not to anger my lawyer, Pietro."

::Pietro slowed himself to walk at the same pace as Ororo, beside her. At the comment, he replied simply,:: "If he is honest, nothing I do will anger him."

She shook her head; as usual, he was being literal, but it was Pietro and nothing she did could change that.
The walk to the door of the office building didn't take long, and she stopped, irritated. The doors were heavy, had no handicap button, and she no longer had the ability to open them for herself.

::Pietro noticed the lack of handicap button, which irritated him; he was fairly certain that there were laws governing such devices, and if not, that there should be. Crossing in front of Ororo, he took the door, which was light to him, and held it open for her.::

She nodded her thanks, moving forward into the building, but the sky clouded over lightly.

::Pietro did not notice the sky darken, focused entirely on her. Once she was through the door, he stepped inside, searching for the elevator.::

The elevator was off to the right of the building foyer, and Storm moved there at her own pace, hitting the button for up.
