Raven felt terrible. How could this have happened? She thought that it had been an accident with the dosage of birth control that had led to Abigail's conception. This...it was terrible.

"We don't," Raven said sharply, looking up. "He will try to kidnap her, corrupt her, Charles. You are her father, the man she looks up to and loves with all her heart." She didn't need to know about this, to have her world shattered at the same time that her powers developed.

::All of those were distinct possibilities, or Erik might show her the same disinterest he displayed to the twins during their childhoods. He was unpredictable in that way. Her powers were similar to his, which might catch the other man's attention, but she also had been instilled with Xavier's mannerisms which would make her too "soft." There was something unethical in hiding a man's child from him, although in this moment, he finally understood Magda's reasoning behind never mentioning her pregnancy.:: "I think he should know. As for Abigail, we will have to tell her eventually, lest she learn elsewhere."
