((OOC: This occurs several weeks after "Job Interview" and related threads.)) ::After reviewing the applications, the resumes, and his notes from interviews, Maynard Tiboldt had left a message on the telephone number Wanda Maximoff had given him, requesting that she make an appointment and meet him at the "Oh What a Night" nightclub. She had returned his telephone call, and they had made an appointment. Now he waited in the mid-afternoon, seated on the edge of the stage with a bottle of water and a bag of pretzels.::

Wanda had waited weeks, with the interview at the back of her mind. She hoped that she would get a call from Mr. Tiboldt, because she did want this job. And a few weeks after their initial interview, he had called and left her a message to make an appointment. She returned his call, agreeing, and they set a time.
In the mid-afternoon, Wanda parked the car next at the parking garage closest to the "Oh What a Night" nightclub, and entered. The door was open once again, and she was a little early once again. Spotting him on the edge of the stage, Wanda began to walk over to him. "It is nice to see you again, Mr. Tiboldt," Wanda said, smiling at him.

"The feeling is mutual," ::Tiboldt said, and glanced down at his pocket watch. She was early yet again, though not as great as the previous time. He still preferred earliness to tardiness. Setting the watch in its proper pocket, he rose and beckoned her closer with a gesture.::

As he beckoned, Wanda came over to where he had been sitting on the stage. She took that this call back was a great sign, and couldn't help but feel excited.

::Tiboldt offered his hand to her, to help her climb atop the stage rather than take the steps along the side. It saved time, and he needed to gauge her comfort level with the stage itself, and with being an entertainer.::

When he offered his hand to help her, Wanda extended her own hand, lifting a leg and placing her foot on the stage's edge to help herself up.

::Tiboldt helped her onto the stage and then dropped his hand. Here they were, as close to "home" as his act ever was.:: "How do you like the view?"

Wanda looked out over to their "audience," which was nothing more than a sea of tables and chairs. "It's pretty nice," She admitted. Like when she had been on a stage in theatre classes, the old feeling of exhilaration returned.

::That was what Tiboldt wanted to hear. He needed his assistants to have an appreciation for the stage as well as to be comfortable there. It warranted a smile.:: "I tend to agree."

Wanda nodded, a small smile forming in response. The stage was a wonderful place, and every time she had seen a play, or anything performed on a stage, it had sucked her in in a way that left her breathless. It was one of the few things she didn't share with Pietro.

::Tiboldt stepped off stage, retrieving some of his stage equipment while she "took it all in." Over his shoulder, he asked,:: "Are you in good shape, Wanda?"

Wanda nodded. "Yes, Sir." She took care to work out regularly, though not nearly as often as her brother managed to.

"That's a plus," ::Tiboldt said, pulling on the wheeled steel cage to bring it onto the stage proper.:: "You need to stay fit in this business."

Wanda nodded in understanding. "I keep a strict workout schedule." It had been important to stay fit, to help with the development of her powers when she'd been a teen.

::That was more than Tiboldt had expected, and he nodded with approval.:: "That's a big plus."
