He chuckled and nodded. "Come on, kitten," he said, steering her away from the crowd. She wouldn't feel too good in the morning, he knew, but whatever. They had at least an hour in a cab together. In the dark. Alone. Mentally, he smirked. Plenty of time. Looking down at her, he asked, "Do you want to say good bye to your friend?" He nodded at where Lorna sat, still chatting with a guy he didn't recognize.

Kitty looked over at Lorna and nodded. "I need to let her know I'm leaving." She agreed. Turning back to Julian, she put the palm of her hand on his chest and said, "I'll meet you at the door."

Bringing her arm up, he kissed the back of her hand. "All right," he murmured, watching her head toward her friend. He, as promised, headed toward the door, smirking.

After talking to Lorna and letting her know she was leaving, Kitty pulled her coat on and headed toward the door. "Let's go." She said to Julian as she approached him.

He bowed slightly. "After you," he said with a charming smile.

Kitty stumbled out of the bar, bracing herself against the wall of the alley. "I don't feel so great." She said quietly.

Julian's brows knit in concern. "Do you need to sit down?" he asked.

Kitty reached out for him without looking up. "No, I don't think so. Just help me get to a cab." Her head was starting to hurt.

He nodded, putting an arm around her and walking her toward the curb, where he would hail a cab. He would have carried her, but he didn't, and not just because she'd probably smack him for being too bold. But also because there was a good chance that she upchuck on his black leather jacket, and he really didn't need that.

Kitty leaned heavily on him, looking forward to getting off her feet. "Thank you, Julian." She slurred up at him.

"My pleasure, kitten," he smiled down at her. Reaching the curb, he held her with one arm and flagged down a cab with the other.
The yellow taxi pulled to a stop at the curb, and Julian opened the door, helping Kitty into the back. "Watch your head, kitten," he warned, putting his hand in between the car and her head.

Kitty climbed into the cab, groaning slightly in drunken misery. She scooted all the way over and leaned her head on the window.

Julian, making sure Kitty was in and settled, slid in after her, shutting the door softly so as not to give the girl too much more of a headache. "Xavier Institute," he said to the cab driver. "Westchester."
As they pulled away from the curb, Julian reached over Kitty and buckled her seat belt. "Can never be too safe," he explained.

Kitty lifted her head and allowed Julian to buckle her seat belt. "Thank you." She said again. Somewhere under the dizziness and the pounding headache, Kitty was still amazed at how badly she had misjudged Julian.

"You're welcome," he said, smiling. He slid over to his own side of the window and buckled his own seatbelt. Staring out the window, he let a pregnant pause settle between the two of him. Kitty, no doubt, was trying to get the pounding in her head to stop; she'd probably pass out before they got back. Which made Julian frown. He still wanted a kiss, if only so he could brag about it later. Still, if he didn't kiss her, he could slowly whittle down her affections for Ramsey and turn them towards himself, and oh what sweet revenge that would be.
