"Any one with a tranq gun could do it, as long as she's not hurt." Her jaw tightened. "Anything that comes close to a bullet going towards her gets stopped, and I'm not asking anyone's permission."

Neena hadn't recognized Odin at first, but when he spoke she turned her attention to him. "I will try my best to do so." She said with a nod. She then turned to the red-head again, arms crossed over her chest now, "No need to get worked up, hun." She said in almost a derisive manner.

Ty waved a hand at the riot. "Call this 'no need'?"

::The riot teams moved in, herding people away from one another in their attempts at crowd control. One particularly uncooperative cluster was hit with tear gas, which began to dilute in the open air. A group of three people ran past, two hold televisions and a third with his pockets filled with stolen jewelry.
Over the walkie talkies, one of the officers was instructed to take a tranquilizer gun and take out the tiger; rumor had it it was a mutant, and not a wild animal. The officer lined her in his sight and fired a dart at the tiger.::

The dart's aim was true; it penetrated Kyra's thick pelt somewhere on her neck. After a moment or two, Kyra stopped, roaring in confusion. Her senses fogged, and she collapsed on the ground. Slowly the change reverted, and Kyra was once more in her human form, albeit pale, naked, and unconscious.

Domino turned around after Kyra was shot, "Someone cover her up." She said with a sigh before she made her way over towards the officers. "I'm Neena Thurman, and we'll be handling this from here." She told them, showing them her card, authority to her tone.

Ty went up to Kyra and took her coat off, putting it around the girl's form, walking past Domino without a word.
((We should wait up for Kurt now))

((OOC: I will after this post.))
"Thank you," ::Odin said soberly; he agreed with the seriousness of the situation and saw no reason to get into a semantic argument about it. When the dart struck, he watched with fascination as Kyra lost her form, and then directed his attention elsewhere. He was not fast enough to remove his jacket; Typhoid had beaten him to it, which was another situation covered. Followed by Domino covering for them, which was better.::

In the ensuing chaos with more people running to and fro now and part of the crowd shattering into all directions, partly trying to avoid the tiger, partly because they wanted nothing to do with the police, Kurt kept his eyes open and had spent the last few moments to just teleport this way and that, taking people, humans and mutants alike, out of danger. Some had been grateful, some had struggled, one had smacked him against the head when he had let go of him outside the dangerous area. When he felt there was nothing more he could do, he jumped back inside, to see what was going on. It had been difficult to follow what had been going on with jumping back and fro like this, but he had noticed police, Ty seeingly arguing with someone else and the police closing in on the tiger.
He appeared next to Typhoid, his headaching, just in time to see Kyra fall.

Ty's arm was going numb, the cuts were probably deeper then she'd thought, and her whole shoulder hurt. But Kyra was first on her mind, and when Kurt popped in beside her she felt a surge of relief. "Kyra needs to go back to the Mansion, before the cops get to her."

"I can get her out at once." Kurt said, his voice slightly raised to be audible for her above all the noise. "All the way back to the mansio or do we meetsomewhere outside the city?" He was pretty sure he could make it. He would of course not teleport all the way at once, his powers lacked ultimate precision for that, but with quick jumps he would be able to make it to the mansion in ten minutes, maybe fifteen.

The riot police had begun to close in on the human crowd, and Domino seemed to be getting things under control on the mutant end. The street was burning, but the atmosphere was less fierce. She faded to transparency, although Kurt would still be able to distinguish her form from the background. It would stop blood loss in her shoulder, at least temporarily. "The Mansion. She's unconscious now but I don't want her on the streets when she wakes up."

"Gut." Kurt said as he watched Typhoid change he appearance. There wasn´t any time to lose and they could always talk later. "I will take her to the laboratory." He had actually never been there, but he would easily be able to make it until the lower floor where he knew the lab was.
The police was getting closer and Kurt did not wait a second longer. In a small cloud of blueish black smoke he disappeared from Typhoid´s side. The blink of an eye later, he was next to the unconscious tiger and in another instant, both of them were gone.

Typhoid stood, she couldn't very well hail a taxi in this form, and she knew from experience that she couldn't hold this form for long without losing substance. She solidified again, and her shoulder once again began to bleed. Looking around, she spotted the healer Odin had mentioned and asked her for help; the woman seemed terrified, but at Ty's gentle question in the midst of all the chaos, she complied. Her skills weren't strong, but it was enough; the bleeding had stopped, and her arm was no longer numb. Thanking the woman, she went back over to Odin. "It's ending, sort of..."

::This was not Odin's first riot. He had encountered far too many in his old neighborhood in Chicago, which was yet another reason he had been keen to travel and reluctant to return. He expected more of civilized people.
From the corner of his eye, he saw the worst of the mobs broken up by police intervention, some arrested. Children were scattering to find their parents, those caught in the midst of this. And somewhere out there, his camera was being abused. A small child, perhaps six years old, came running from the police, and nearly smacked into his legs. He reached down to steady him, under the mud and through the panic, he might be adorable. The child was cowering, and so Odin lifted him up to hold him, which was how Typhoid found him when she returned.:: "It will be a busy night at the police station."
