((Thanks Ty))
During the last few moments, when violence had escalated further, Kurt hat kept passive. He wished he could calm down the masses, but didn´t know how. He had had to use his powers once to escape something large, a brick or something if he had not been mistaken, being hauled into his direction, causing anothe row of screams an insults from the crowd.
He had followed the words of the blonde girl like in a haze, but when he saw her darting towards the mutant girl and the human with the gun, he reacted quickly. Just when husk was with the man to knock the weapon out of his hand, Kurt teleported next to the girl, took her and with another ´bamf´ he had brought her out of harms way, outside the crowd. "Go home." he told her. "Don´t let them hurt you." He took sympathy in the young mutant, her mutation was physical, just like his own. Then he retuned back to appear next to Typhoid and a young man who had apparently only recently arrived without his noticing.

Paige felt the force as she shoved her body onto the mans, twisting his arm in a painful position behind his back as he let go of the gun. Quickly she slammed her fist down on the gun, breaking it. As he yelled at her, calling her very rude words she twisted his arm even more and ignored his cry of pain. "Don't let me catch you tryin' ta hurt someone again." She growled out close to his hear before getting off of his body, kicking the parts of the gun aside. She then looked to Nightcrawler who was holding onto the girl before he vanished. Looking around, she tired to find another act of violence she could break up.

Monet was starting to consider leaving, but she didn't want to let down either Ty or Odin. She gnashed her teeth as she broke up one altercation after another. Knowing that she must have already been seen and desperate to get out of there, she lifted off again, flying high over the park, scanning both visually and audibly for any sign of the police. She could see the tell tale red and blue lights, but the cars couldn't break through the crowds. She saw riot control SWAT teams with their metal shields and gas masks.
She touched down next to Ty. "The cops are about four blocks out, it looks like they're going to use gas."

((OOC: Sorry about the delay in posts, schoolwork comes first.))
Strype had been pushed around after spotting Typhoid and another girl she recognized from the Institute. A punch had been thrown, giving her a splendid black eye. Though it was already healing, thanks to her healing factor. Kyra was reluctant to use her hybrid form, because hatred swelled on the most obvious mutants. She had just transformed enough to boost her strength, to be able to move through the wave of people. "Ty, Paige!" She cried out, trying to head towards them.

Paige was further away from where Ty was and with all the fighting and other acts of violence going on, it was hard for Paige to hear much from a distance. As someone roughly grabbed her by the shoulders, she was jerked forward and took the opportunity to spin around on one foot, bringing her leg up to knock said person in the temple with a roundhouse kick. She ignored the angered man who called her a freak, something she had heard more than her fair share. "Proud of it." Paige said before a smirk came to her face.

Kurt had lost count of the number of things had had been thrown at him by now, verbally and physically. All he knew was that it would be best to get out of here, instead of causingmore fighting and harm. This wouldn´t lead to anything good. Some people were now injured alreay and it was obvious that violence was not a one sided thing. It wasn´t going to get better and then he was not even thinking of he negative press this was going to stir.
He made his way over to the blonde mutant who had just knockd down one of the humans. He didn´t use his powers since by now things had gotten rather crowded and he crowd was shifting and swaying and he did not want to risk teleporting right into someone. Something hit him hard against the shoulder and he idetified it as a fist. Turning his head he could see the person matching with it. Another raging, angry man who looked at him as if he was some sort of demon. Well, that was nothing new and Kurt forced himself not to think about the disgust he saw on the human´s face. "We have to stop this." he yelled instead, his words adressed at page. "This is getting more and more dangerous. It´s leading nowhere. It´s just violence." Everything, every punch he saw and received was against his very nature and the smirk he had seen on the young one´s face after knocking down the stranger did not make things better at all. If only there was a way of getting them all into safety quickly, but some of them, the blond one and the dark haired one did not look like they would accept being taken off and away all that easily.

Paige had been looking around before she heard Nightcrawler addressing her, telling her that they needed to stop this. She knew that much, and he did have a point this was getting them nowhere. The violence just kept escelating. However, she knew that they couldn't just leave like this, and to be honest, the adrenline rush she was feeling right now made her not want to stop. Maybe she did have a slightly violent side to her, but she only fought when someone started something with her. In her eyes that did not make her a bad person, as she was just protecting herself and anyone else from getting hurt.
"I know we should, but we cannot just quit now, we're X-Men. We have to protect everyone that needs our help." Paige said before adding, "And right now, a lot of innocent people, human and mutants alike need our help." She knew it may sound corny, but it was completly true and that's how Paige saw it right now, people needed their help, and she was not about to leave them to fend for themselves. A lot of mutants here, she was sure, were not able to protect themselves. She knew for a fact, that any humans who were on their side were in danger. Both by mutants, and by humans who thought they were betraying them. God forbid anyone have their own opinion in this world, right?

Monet pushed her hair away from her face again. "Well, I'm not an X-Man, and I'd like to get out of here before we get gassed." She didn't intend to sound abrasive, she just had a different way of looking at things. "With my skills, I can get a lot of people out of here."

Paige was fed up already by this girl, maybe it was just the frustration she felt for these types of situations which made it hard for Paige to be nice, or maybe these two would never get along. Snapping her gaze in the brunette's direction she glared at her. "Then leave, no one is askin' for you to stay." She growled out, eyes narrowing as she breathed heavily from anger and exertion. When Monet said she could get a lot of people out here she let out a sigh of anger, "Then whatcha waitin' for? Go!" She snapped at the girl before taking off to try and break up another fight ahead of them. Today, it was obvious Paige was not in a good mood, but she had every right not to be right now.

"I'm not an X-Man either," ::Odin pointed out, not as antagonism, but for accuracy. He could not draw sides, was incapable of doing it. He had had his fill of fighting long ago; it simply kept *finding* him, and he had difficulty staving it off. That sense of solidarity within him brought him to the center of it time and again.
The impending police sirens were difficult to hear over the shouting and the screaming, but faintly he could make out a sound. This would get worse before it would get better, and he had already lost his camera. He needn't be arrested also, though he thought he could disappear before that became a problem. He knew how to weave in and out of groups:: "But I suggest somebody shout 'police' at the top of their lungs; it'll make some of the people scatter. Then those of us in any position to actually rescue people would have a clearer path."

Kurt had been in Washington at the Wideawake attack, he had been in the middle of things, but still he was not completely sure whethr he would call himself an X Man. It didn´t really matter, since the blonde one was right. there were people in danger and they did have to do something about it. However, it was the behaviour of the other girl, the dark haired one, that was irritating. She seemed to harsh in her fighting, it was just enraging. She had not taken people out of danger so far or maybe he just had not seen that. Deciding that he could not wait for that to happen, he turned around to quickly scan the crowds. Once the police arrived he could be off quickly enough.
He spotted another mutant, a man around his mid thierties, the hint of green scales around the outlines of his cheeks marking him a mutant. He had broken down to his knees and had a hand raised protectively, while the other was slashing at a groub of three or four closing in on them, one armed with a baseball bat. He made his way over to them and pushed one of them away to be able to get a hold of them. Angry protest was the result but he only caught half of it before he teleported, taking the weakened man out of harms way.

Kyra had been wading towards Typhoid and Paige, though it was hard to reach them. She kept getting pushed aside. Seeing no further way around it, Kyra shapeshifted into her hybrid form. Her clothes did not burst, though her limbs lengthened and became furred. The sneakers were a little uncomfortable, but thankfully still held together.
"Typhoid!" Kyra shouted. A man with a bottle came at her, and she ducked.

Monet took orders from no one, and this little girl was really starting to push her boudaries a little too far. With a low growl, Monet looked around them and saw two young girls, their identity as mutant or human not visibly discernable. What caught her attention was that they were both crying, huddled together. Monet dashed over to them, wracking her brain for the right words as she approached. She ducked down next to them and said, "I can get you out of here, but I'm going to have to lift you both, is that okay?" Both girls looked up at her and nodded immediately. She wrapped one arm around each girl and said, "Hold on to me." They both complied immediately and Monet lifted off. As she gained speed, she heard one of the girls cry out in fear, but did not react. She set them down a few blocks from the fighting and said simply, "Run." Before lifting off, grudgingly returning to the group.

Ty had been in the midst of breaking up a group of mutant girls whaling on a human guy when she heard her name being called. After making sure the human was all right, she turned about, and saw who was yelling for her. "Kyra!" The crowd was so loud she could barely hear herself think. "I like Odin's idea," she said to Monet, letting her and Paige handle their own argument.

Kyra struggled through the crowd to get to Typhoid; if she could get to her, Paige and the others, she could help. She could be useful. There was a group of humans, mostly male, kicking a middle-aged woman who had bat-like ears. She was crying out in pain. Kyra dove onto them, trying to use enough force to drive them away. There was so much pain.
