::The Professor noticed the hesitation in her voice, and the same in her thoughts. Although he was here to train her, it was not to be done beyond her desires.:: "Are you sure? We can pause for the day."

She looked up towards where she knew the observation area was. "Come on, Professor. If I wanted to quit, I would."

::That was true, but courtesy was ingrained in the Professor's nature, as was nuturing. His hands moved over the control panel, changing the scenario such that she was now outside a similar maze, but this one made of wood.::

Ty didn't change form yet, not right away, instead setting off in another direction. After about five minutes, she came to a different wall. "Wood I've done before." She turned transparent, passed through it without problem besides the effort of concentration on her part.

It was possible, she thought, that things that had more gaps in them, like hedges, were harder to pass through. "Can you change it back to the hedge again? I want to try something."

::The Professor made note of that while continuing to observe.:: "Do you wish to try a different substance?"

::Stone could be arranged, although the Professor's first thought had been a softer material.:: "Stone is a possibility."

"I may as well try it," she replied.

"Very well," ::The Professor replied, and changed the composition of the maze. The same pattern, but in the place of the shrubs were large stones, akin to what might have been used to create a Medieval castle.::

This time she passed through easily, ending up on the other side. "I barely felt that."

"Good," ::The Professor said over the speaker system. This was learning progress.:: "Would you care to try pumicite?"
