"Fine," Gambit replied. He thought of the places he frequented, and gave Pietro the address of one of them. "I'll make it in ten minutes," he said, getting on the bike and grabbing his helmet to put it on.

"See you there," ::Pietro replied, after being given the address. He was vaguely familiar with the area, although certain he had never been there before. The run would take no time at all.::

Gambit just nodded in response and put the helmet on, then started the engine and kicked the footstand of the bike off.

::Pietro ambled for a moment longer, before running in the direction of the establishment. He had no doubt he would beat Gambit there by several minutes.::

Pietro was gone in a blink, just like Gambit had expected him to. He liked reliable people. It made his life much easier in many situations.
His bike took off along the same route, speeding through already waning late-evening traffic. In ten minutes or less, as promised and depending on the road conditions, he'd arrive to the agreed place.

::As was expected, it took Pietro only a minute to reach the location Gambit had given him. He entered, deciding to wait for the other man inside due to the cool temperatures.::

Finally having made it to the agreed place, Gambit parked the bike and, leaving his helmet on it, walked inside. It was a bit dim inside, the brightest spots of light being the bar and the pool tables, of course; it made his red eyes more conspicuous but he didn't mind. If there was anybody in this place tonight willing to start a fight on the subject of his being a mutant, he would be only too glad to oblige. He could do with some physical activity...
He found Pietro just as he stepped inside.

::Pietro saw Gambit enter and crossed over to him, two pool cues in his hand. He tossed one to the other man, as he had already paid for a table.::

Gambit caught the cue and walked over to the table. "Any particular set of rules we'll be playin' by?" he asked.

::Pietro had learned to play from Scott, whose talent for geometry often made it a losing endeavor. To that end, he had developed an appreciation simply for the wind-down.:: "Eight ball, unless you want something fancy."

"No, that's fine," Gambit replied. He moved the balls from the tray onto the table so that Pietro could arrange these for the game in the meantime.

::Pietro took the balls and placed them in the triangle for set up, rolling them as he'd been taught before playing.:: "You'll break?"

"Sho," Gambit gave a brief nod. Walking over to the other side of the table, he leaned slightly over it, aiming for a shot, and after the cue ball hit the colorful triangle, he noticed one ball disappear into a hole. "Striped," he said, mostly in a nod to the rules, although he was sure Pietro had noticed it, too.

::Pietro nodded. That gave him solids, when Gambit failed to get another ball into a pocket.::

Gambit got the next one, too, but didn't have too many options for his next shot as it looked like he would have most likely hit solids, too, in any direction. He merely pushed one of the balls closer to a hole, 'saving' it for the next time. Then straightened up, glancing at Pietro.
