"Fine," She said. "I won't renew the one spell, but the second one is already underway, and you will walk again."

::Xavier could hardly argue with what had been done or demand it be undone, only that anything further stop. He sighed mentally; to him, not being able to walk had been penance for his actions after Jean had gone Phoenix.:: "Fine, but in the future, do nothing of this sort. I accept my aging and mortality; I have earned each of my years and my injuries."

"Fine," She agreed. "You won't regress any further. But I will have to keep using my magic, even if for mundane things, or else it will build up and become disastrous."

"By all means, use it," ::Xavier replied; he certainly had no issue with her doing what she needed to do. He simply did not want to be the object or to cheat death any longer.::

Raven sighed aloud. "I just kept thinking about how happy Abigail would be to have her father teach her those things, and be there for her later, when she goes to college or gets married. I kept thinking about how happy you would be to walk again." She laid down on the bed, suddenly feeling weary.

"I understand that, but we began this relationship with the knowledge that I am older," ::Xavier rebutted. It was no surprise and assumed that he would age. A regret, yes, but one could only take so much from the universal balance.::

She shrugged slightly. "I know. And I thought that helping a little couldn't hurt. You're still older than I am, Charles."

::This time, Xavier sighed audibly; his point had slid off her without making an impression.:: "I am through discussing this now."

"Fine," She said. They would be done discussing this, but she knew they would both continue to think about it. Would he question everything that happened from here on out? Things that happened to their enemies?

"I will not," ::Xavier promised her. Just as he did not suspect anything from his X-Men or Erik when they had been together.:: "I trust that after this conversation, you will exercise greater caution."

"I will," She promised. She laid back down, thinking. Raven hadn't thought that things would go this way, and it served to make her think about her choices in the future.
