Both of her eyebrows rose slightly. "How?" She asked, curious. She took a seat beside him, reaching to hold his hand in hers.

::Xavier took her hand in his; the reason eluded him.:: "Neither Henry nor I know."

"Do you know to what extent they'll heal?" She asked, curious. "And if you'll walk again?" She squeezed his hand gently, encouraging.

"I do not know," ::Xavier replied honestly. It was a medical mystery, and both he and Henry had their work ahead of him. A bit disconcerting, as it was his health and livelihood at issue.::

Raven brought his hand up to her lips, kissing the back gently. "I am here for you, for whatever you need, Charles." She would always be.

"All we can do is wait and see what happens," She said, as if to reassure him. She would help him through this as much as possible.

"We will," ::Xavier agreed. At the moment, he was in a state of shock, unable to allow his hopes to rise.::

Raven squeezed his hand gently, encouraging him as always. Several days passed, and Raven began to notice Charles' muscle spasms. It had been several weeks since she had begun the spells, and he was now at least six years physically younger than he had been before she started. And his legs and spine continued to heal. She had hope.

::The muscle spasms woke him in the night, which were Xavier's primary gripe, apart from the uncertainty as to the cause. He was energized, and it had appeared as though the aging process had reversed mildly or if years of stress had rolled off him. Eventually, he began to suspect the effect of a mutant somewhere, somehow.::

Due to the spasms, and Xavier's randomly jumping in the night, Raven slept rather poorly. By the time the alarm rang the next morning, she slept through it, and had ended up pressed against him.

::Xavier carefuly extricated himself from bed, careful to not distrub Raven, and went about his morning routine. The spasms had become painful, and he had switched to a different painkiller to take them, which he took in lieu of his migraine medication.::

Raven had slept through breakfast, and the night before Charles had told her he had a training session during lunch and could not meet her and Abigail. When his office hours started, Raven thought it would be a good idea to bring him a sandwich and a cup of tea. Seeing the door to his office slightly ajar, Raven simply walked in, holding the tray in both hands. "Good afternoon, Charles," She said, smiling softly.

::Xavier had taken his pills with his morning coffee and looked up when she entered.:: "Hello, Raven."

"How are you feeling?" She asked. It was the standard question now, mostly referring to his legs. She knew the spasms were bad. Closing the door behind her, she came further into the room. "I brought a sandwich and some tea."
