In the buzz of the night (open)

Elias gave a nod at that and turned to follow her with his eyes when she walked away. His beer was half empty and he found this was one of the evenings where he didn´t need lots of alcohol to be in a good mood. He briefly wondered whether she´d keep word and come back. It was certainly easy to just disappear in here now that the crowd was becoming bigger and more lifely and he hoped she wouldn´t because he had to admit it was nice having a chat with a girl in a club again after quite a while.

After writing down the address, Paige stuffed the piece of paper back into her pocket. Making her way back over to where Elias was, she smiled before taking a seat. "So, tell me something about yourself." She said, curious.

[Golem]

He half smirked at that. Elias was usually a person who did not trust too easily, yet this was a character trait he didn´t show. He was none to open up secrets of his life easily in front of others, yet he always enjoyed a nice chat and that could even include telling the one or other story about himself. "Well," he said with a wink. "I guess I could start and go on for quite a while, but I´m sure that would bore you. So I could tell you a bit about the world and places I´ve been or is there anything more specifical you want to know?"

[Husk]

"Oh, I don't mind. Go ahead and talk, I'm all ears." She told him with a smile.

[Golem]

His outer appearance didn´t betray it, but inside, Elias stayed a little wary. He had not drunk quite enough yet to have a lose tongue and he knew from experience that he could remain observant even in a chatty atmosphere. It wasn´t anything against her personally - quite the contrary he enjoyed their little conversation, it was just that even though he liked to socialize he did not trust easily enough to spill out half his life immidiately. He had his reasons for this and they didn´t root in a mistrust against any particular kind of person. Elias did not think black and white or human mutant, it was more rooted in his own childhood and teenage experience.
"Well," he said, twirling the glas between his fingers. "I like to travel a lot and that´s about what I´ve done the last ten years. I´ve been... in many parts of Europe and half across the States. I like moving around."

[Husk]

"Wow, sounds like a lot of fun. I wish I could do some traveling." She said with a sigh.

[Golem]

He gave her a smile at that, taking a sip from his glas. "Why don´t you then?" he asked.

[Husk]

"Don't really have the money." She told him quietly.

[Golem]

"Neither do I." Elias gave back. "You don´t really need more than a little sense of adventure to do some travelling. More means than money to come around."

[Husk]

"True, but I also need to stay here and practice my powers." She explained to him, a smile present on her features.

[Golem]

He wondered if that meant Xavier´s in particular. He had heard that there were quite a bunch of young people going there for just those reasons - learning control.
"What are your powers if you don´t mind me asking?" he asked.

[Husk]

Paige smiled at his question before saying, "I can shed my outer layer of skin into something else underneath, like steel or glass." She explained.

[Golem]

He scowled in slight amusement, not to make fun of her but because the discription made it difficult to imagine. "So you´re... kind of a shapeshifer? Just as in shift yourself into something material?" he asked, just to clarify for himself.

[Husk]

"Yeah, I guess I could be classified as a shapeshifter." She said with a shrug before taking a few sips of her drink.

[Golem]

"That´s cool." Elias said. Of shapeshifters he had heard. He had met the one or other on his way. "I bet it comes in handy. Can you become other persons too, or is this more about layers and stuff?" He didn´t know if questions like that sounded geeky and frankly if he had wondered he wouldn´t have cared. Ever since he had been a kid, he had been interested in mutations so he guessed that his curiosity was rather obvious in his behaviour.
