Odin's Apartment

[Odin]

::After the opening credits, the film began, telling the story of Jodie Foster's character, Clarice Starling out for promotion while trying to track down Buffalo Bill, the notorious serial killer responsible for the murder of a seemingly random assortment of young women, the link eluding the police and the Bureau.

Enter Doctor Hannibal Lecter, a cannibalistic serial killer who can help them get into Buffalo Bill's head through his psychiatric expertise. The case went through the twists and turns, complete with police work, personal history revealed on Clarice's part, and several murders, and the kidnap and holding of the soon-to-be latest victim.::

[Husk]

Paige had her hands over her mouth at one point, disgusted by the fact that this guy ate people. "God, that's disgusting." She muttered.

[Odin]

::Odin had seen this film several times, and each time was less affected than the last. He nodded at her statement, however.:: "Yes, but you asked for a horror movie."

[Husk]

"I know." She said quietly, eyes glued to the screen.

[Odin]

::Odin split his attention between the film and her reactions; his thumb hovered over the pause button should it become necessary.::

[Husk]

"What are you doing?" She asked, noticing him out of the corner of her eye, his finger moving towards the pause button.

[Odin]

::Odin's thumb rested on the pause button, but he didn't press it. At her question, he turned his head.:: "For the moment, I'm not doing anything."

[Husk]

"Okay." She said, gaze back on the screen again.

[Odin]

::Odin turned his head back to the screen, to give it close to his full attention. Just at that moment, Hannibal was arguing with Clarice about the fact that her boss intended to backstab him.::

[Husk]

Eyes glued to the screen, Paige almost jumped out of her skin when her phone went off. She had set the alarm the other day, when she had taken a nap, and must've forgotten to turn it off. "Sorry." She said quietly before getting up to turn off her cell phone.

[Odin]

::Odin didn't jump, although the noise was unexpected, and he pressed the pause button to still the film. At the scene where Hannibal lay in wait for the agents, wearing the uniform and face of another guard.:: "If you need to answer that, I can make myself scarce."

[Husk]

"Oh, no. It's just my alarm. It went off." She told him as she hit the off button on her cell. When the screen went blank she put it back in her purse before moving to take a seat on the couch again.

[Odin]

::Odin nodded; he didn't often use his cellular's alarm for that reason. When she sat down again, he started the film back up, and the confrontation and escape scene proceeded as he remembered so well.::

[Husk]

Smiling a little to him, she waited for him to un-pause the video. When he did, she turned her attention back to the screen.

[Odin]

::Odin kept the remote in his hand, should he need to shut off the film again. He watched as it progressed, through the attempts to find the now escaped Hannibal, and the infiltration of both the fake house, and the real one, where the kidnapped girl was held.::
