Odin's Apartment

[Odin]

::Odin pulled out the chair across from her and sat down. She had been gazing out the window, and he quirked his eyebrow up.:: "Anything interesting outside?"

[Husk]

It took her a moment to realized what he meant and she blushed slightly, "Oh, no. I was just looking outside." She said quietly as she put her glass down.

[Odin]

::She had mentioned she came from the country, and so Odin assumed the hustle and bustle of the city was an adjustment. Just as it was an adjustment every time he ventured into a small, sleepy town.:: "How often do you come into the city?"

[Husk]

"I've only come here like 5 times so far." Paige said with a small shrug.

[Odin]

"Only to the Hellfire Club?" ::Odin inquired, genuinely curious about other traveling habits.::

[Husk]

"Yeah." Paige said with a small smile, "First time coming here in the day." She admitted. "I like it."

[Odin]

::Odin nodded in agreement; he had affection for Manhattan. The city had a particular culture about it, and there were so many mutants going about their lives...it was impossible not to like it.:: "If you like theatre, you should hit Broadway during a visit. Or the museums if that's your interest."

[Husk]

"I've wanted to try and go see a Broadway play, but their too expensive." Paige said, a bit of sadness to her tone.

[Odin]

"Any play in particular?" ::Odin asked from curiosity. Surely Xavier had the funds to organize a field trip for the students.::

[Husk]

Paige shrugged her shoulders, "No, not really." She said before taking a sip of her water. "Have you ever been there?" She asked curiously.

[Odin]

"A couple of times," ::Odin confirmed with a nod. He'd seen a few plays in his past visits, and then another two since he'd settled in for the current stretch.:: "I'm more into drama than musicals, which can lend itself to off-Broadway."

[Husk]

"Oh? That's cool, what did you see?" Paige asked with a small smile.

[Odin]

::Even innocent questions led to compulsions, and Odin could bide his time with questions of clarification.:: "The first time, or the most recent time?"

[Husk]

"First one." Paige said with a shrug.

[Odin]

"It was a performance of 'Waiting for Godot,' a play about the absurdities of life," ::Odin said, remembering vividly the theatre, and how it had only been half-filled, despite the classic subject matter. It had, at first, given him a warped view of Broadway audiences.::
