Since Paige had not seen Abigail with Professor Xavier, she had no idea who it may be, though those eyes that Abigail had did look vagely familiar. Nodding she smiled a little, "Would you mind if I held her? It's been a while since my siblings were this little." She explained.

"Of course I wouldn't," she said. She was used to the students asking. Carefully she handed Abigail over, making sure that Paige had her in her arms before pulling away. "How many siblings do you have?" she asked her.

Paige smiled as Mystique allowed her to hold Abigail. Holding her securely in her arms she looked up to Mystique when she asked her a question. "Seven." She said before smiling and looking down at Mystique's daughter again, "Aw, you are too cute." She said as the baby reached up in attempt to play with the necklace Paige was wearing. Paige suddenly remembered one time when she was 2, holding Josh when he was just a newborn. Smiling at the memory she then looked up at Mystique again.

"That's quite a lot," she admitted, slightly in awe. "I was an only child, myself." And she was glad of that. No other brothers or sisters to be subjected to the hell she went through.

Paige laughed softly at Mystique's awe, "Yeah, I guess." She said with a small smile. Cradling Abigail in her arms she moved her arms back and forth gently, rocking Abigail. Looking up to Mystique she frowned slightly, "That must've been lonely then." She said, sad that she didn't have a sibling to go to.
((Be back soon!))

"I suppose," she said, shrugging. "Though in a way, I'm rather glad I didn't have siblings." Glad that they were not subjected to what she had gone through.

"Really?" Paige asked, surprised by that.

She nodded. "My parents weren't very tolerant of mutants," she explained simply. She would rather not go into details about it; it remained a painful aspect of her life, what they had done.

Frowning at Mystique's words, Paige almost apologized, but decided not to. Looking down to Abigail, she noticed that the baby was looking at Mystique, hinting that she wanted to go back to her. "Here, I think she wants you." She said as she moved to gently lay her daughter back in her arms.

She smiled softly, accepting her daughter back into her arms. "Hello, you," she cooed, rocking Abby gently. "She's eternally curious," she said to Paige, without looking up.

Paige smiled lightly at how Abby reacted to being in her mother's arms. "That's a wonderful name, Abigail." She complimented.

She smiled. "It was a long process finding a name that was mutually agreeable," she told her.

"With you and your...husband?" She asked, not exactly sure if this mysterious guy was a boyfriend or even less.

She gave a half-shrug. "More or less," she said, being vague again. Just this morning she had her in the kitchen with Charles for breakfast, trying to get her to eat solids, though she didn't really show an interest.

"Sorry, I must seem so nosy right now." She said, her cheeks going red.
