((post Wideawake))
It was already dark outside, around 9 p.m. or a little later, when Elias entered the Hellfire club. He was wearing a casual outfit and a jacket that maybe was a little too thin for this time of the year. He wasn´t too used to the atmosphere of clubs like these, but he had decided it might be the best way to get to know the city´s nightlife and maybe meet a few new faces, chat a little, get to know with the general flow of the city. He was new here after all. And besides all that, he had been curious for this club - an all mutant place, as a friend of his from San Francisco had told him once. Sounded interesting enough to have a look.
He made his way towards the bar, looking around, getting used to the lulling beat of the music. He found a place near the bar and sat down where he had a nice overview over the area.

Aedan had frequented the Hellfire since his incident with the healers. The darker part of himself continued to claw and nudge at his brain, and constant headaches were common. He shoved his gloved hands into the pockets of his trenchcoat, and walked into the club, sitting down at the nearest bar stool he could find at the bar. He ordered a tall scotch, then turned slightly to survey the club.

Elias ordered a beer and scanned the crowds once more while the bartender got one for him and handed it over the counter. Scanning crowds was a common thing to do for him - not from waryness, but because he liked to imagine and think about the stories that faces could tell by just the look in the eyes or the way a person moved his head. People changed with experiences and with their own little adventures, the journeys, both the actual ones and the once life left on their faces were always interesting to observe, even though Elias did not know a single one of the persons in this club.
He spotted a man who had just entered the club when he sat down on the bar stool next to him. He had a determined look about him, like someone who had seen difficult times or who had been through rough things or someone who was merely gloomy. Golem couldn´t tell, but his mind immidiately started to make up a story that went with those looks. A common game for a globetrotter like him that aided in never making him feel bored. Or almost never. He took a sip from his beer and raised his glass at the other man before he did so, giving him a crooked but friendly smile. A typical thing for a guy from a tightly knit Scottish community to do to be friendly and welcoming to strangers with no intentions behind it than just saying hello.

Aedan saw Golem through his peripheral vision, and turned slightly. He forced a smile to the man, lifting his glass when it arrived in return before taking a long sip of it. "How are you?" He said simply in the standard greeting. Meeting people was honestly what he came here for. Conversation was the best way to get his mind off of things.

"Rather fine." Elias said. It was a kind of unusual greeting he thought, but then again fitted his own attitude of familiarity even with strangers. Little things like that made life look friendlier, less anonymous. "Thought I´d have a look at this place. Never been here before." He extended a hand, as he usually did when getting acquainte. Old habits died hard. "I´m Elias."

Aedan glanced down to his own hand, remembering he had gloves on he sighed, shaking the mans han briefly. "Aedan. Nice to meet you." He looked around him. "I've been 'ere a few times. Good drinks." He motioned with his own and took a sip.

Golem took a swig of his beer. It was okay, he thought. He never payed too much attention to the differences there anyways. He gave a short nod. "Heard about this place from a friend." he said. "I thought it might be worth a visit."

Aedan nodded. "Aye, it's the only mutant only club I've ever seen. You're almost surprised that it exists at all, and is so full constantly."

Golem chuckled lightly, turning his glass between his hands. "Well, not too surprising really." he said. "Looks like a fun place to hang out and with not too many mutant only places out there..." he shrugged. "I bet many of us don´t feel like going to a random disco. Especially those with funny skin or hair colours or other fun stuff of the like."
