"It doesn't matter right now." She'd grown used to the level of pain she had to cope with while on medication. Without would have been a different story.

::Xavier nodded solemnly.:: "I also brought a sedative, if you would like."

She turned still-white eyes towards the window, looking at the rain. "There's a little more time, if you've got questions. But not much." She hated that, knowing when something was going to strike and being unable to stop it.

::Xavier nodded again in acknowledgment and asked the first, most pressing question,:: "For how long have you been unable to control?"

"Two weeks, give or take." She sat back down, slowly. "I spend too much time asleep."

::Xavier filed that information away for later, and continued,:: "What are your dreams of?"

A flicker of confusion ran across her face. "You know me better then that. I never remember my dreams."

"Trauma can change that," ::Xavier told her, but if there was no change that she was aware of, he could probe later.:: "Were there any problems while you were away?"

"I was in a hospital in France a couple of days, sedated," she said, so matter of fact that it felt like it had happened to someone else. Like giving a briefing in the War Room. "I tried to stop something my powers had started. I ended up losing most of the feeling in my legs and passing out." She nodded towards the briefcase Pietro had set in one corner of the room. "The rest of it was tests, diagnostics...anything they could think of. The results are in there."

::Xavier's expression was one of concern, and he wheeled back, before approaching the briefcase. He would have to examine this information with Henry.:: "While you are asleep, I will review this."

She nodded. "And I'll...take the sedative." Another thing she hated.

"Hopefully, we will have a break-through soon," ::Xavier told her. Were their positions reversed, he would not care to be sedated either, although he, too, would accept it from necessity.::

She remembered what Atticus had said he saw, remembered to that she'd never told the Professor. He'd compared it to HIV...it didn't give her much hope. "I...was told it might be a virus we're looking for. Something new."

::That was news to Xavier, and he nodded to acknowledge that. If she was telling him this, it indicated that the information was not in the documents she had provided him, and thus special note had to be made.:: "Henry and I will look for that."

It was enough. She had confidence in Hank and his ability to analyze things, more then any doctor she'd seen. The reason she'd left had nothing to do with their ability to find what was wrong with her. "Thank you."
