((Sunday of Betsy's first weekend at the mansion, the day after "A Clearer View"))
Betsy took the train into the city, having learned the way from Jinx that Friday night. She visited the Met and spent most of the afternoon admiring art and thinking about her first week in her new life. Dressed in her usual faded jeans, an old Grateful Dead t-shirt, and her converse trainers, the only thing about her that called any attention was her bright purple hair, which she had pulled back into a pony tail.
It was late in the afternoon when she descended the stairs in the front of the museum. She stood on the sidewalk briefly, considering getting a piece of authentic NYC pizza before heading back to the school.

Betsy turned right and started walking slowly down 5th Avenue, shoving her hands into her jeans pockets. She smiled at people passing by, and they looked at her strangely. She knew she wanted a piece of pizza, but she didn't have a solid destination in mind and had plenty of time to wander.

Two groups of two in civilian clothes moved in the general direction of her forward path. One separate female agent was ahead and taking pictures of people and buildings with a digital camera. She swiveled and took a 'shot' in Psylocke's direction and smiled a friendly smile.

A woman on the sidewalk was shooting photos and smiled at Betsy. She smiled back as she continued walking.

Betsy gave an odd look to two people walking together silently as they passed her. Suddenly, she could smell pizza and realized just how famished she was. Looking down a side street, she saw a sign outside a small pizzeria and turned to walk toward it, smiling in anticipation.
