Full name: Emily Blaine
Alias: Aqua
Approximate age: 20
Hair: blue
Eyes: blue
Face: cute dolly face with pouting lips and arrogant eyes
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 50 kilos, whatever it is in pounds
Build: slim
Dress Sense: Doesn't really follow the latest trends in fashion, but tries to be always elegant and to the occasion. Prefers skirts and dresses (fanatically, I'd say), light fabrics, rarely seen in jeans.
Powers: Ability to manipulate water ->
- move water amounts weighing up to several tons;
- create various water shapes, such as animals, letters, imitation of fountains;
- create high-pressurized water blades that cut through most soft materials and to some extent through wood;
- hold herself or others afloat by creating pressure in the water from below;
- remove water from any object that contains it, including living cells;
- use water contained in cells to rearrange them, thus possibly healing damaged tissues;
- disperse herself or parts of her body into thin air by pulling apart the water molecules in her cells, and then put herself back together (yet undeveloped but tried once)
Personality: likes to study and find out the inner working of things. Not very sociable, lacking communication skills to some extent, so when she does take a step to make contact, she usually fails it eventually by doing or saying something unexpected. Likes music, plays piano, enjoys photography, but all of that as solitary activities. Is wary of physical contact, but enjoys the company of people who can joke and don't expect anything from her. Meticulous and tends to strive for more than she's capable of (family pressure).
History: Her parents suggested the idea of going to Xavier's Institute to her as a means of developing and applying her evolving powers. Emily agreed, moreover inspired by the thought that she would meet Dr. Hank McCoy, who due to his scientific work was her role model, in a way. Emily quickly found a place for herself as a minor assistant at the lab in Xavier's mansion.
Even though she wasn't very adept at socializing, school inhabitants seemed to be coming forward to meet her, so her circle of friends and ever-changing roommates grew very quickly. Out of all, three connections that she grew to value a lot were friendship with Rin (Prism), friendship with Pietro (Quicksilver), which seemed to her more like older brother/little sister relationship, and a short-lived relationship with Jarod (Tron). Most of those, however, due to Emily's inexperience, kept leaving her confused about the true state of things, and her realization that she was attracted to Pietro didn't help the matter, either.
Her growing skills as a paramedic led to Emily being included in the paramedic team that Charles Xavier formed in light of the Sentinel attack on Washington, D.C. When she was attacked by Aedan (Drain), Emily's powers acted on self-protection impulse, dispersing her body into separate molecules. Weeks later, when she was finally able to put her body together and move again, her parents made a decision to remove her from Xavier's school. With Jarod's family making a similar decision, their budding relationship ended. Next summer, Emily enrolled into NYIT to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor and was now living in New York City.
By a chance, she kept running into Aedan every once in a while months after that; as he made it his aim to make it up to her for the harm he'd caused, eventually she stopped being wary of him, and as mutual affection became evident, the two started a relationship.
