::Pietro and Wanda had run away, after they were grown when they returned to Europe. It had been for the best. Before that...Uncle had been in his accident when matters had reached their worst, and they could not have left him that way, and the others to have to fend for themselves against Magneto.:: "We left for Europe."

Ty laughed dryly. "Would that I could have gone that far."

::Europe had served Pietro and Wanda well, until the political tide had changed. Now they were in America...indefinitely. On the Parkway, he accelerated, although he stayed near the speed limit.:: "We both ended up here."

"Still...at least I could have gone home." She smiled, though he could only see it in the mirror. "I'm glad you came here."

::Pietro was grateful that he had met her, despite the rest of the frustration along the path. At the very least, Magneto had been deposed of, and there was little trouble at the mansion. Although if they had not been in America, Wanda would not have been Cured...it was a complication. One he chose not to focus on, not for now.:: "I'll take you to Italy."

"I know." Another smile. "You've offered before."

"I know. I was reminding you," ::Pietro replied, with a ghost of a smile on his lips.::

"I stand reminded." Ty chuckled a little, seeing the slight smile and glad of it. "Should I ask where we're going, or did you want to keep it a surprise?"

::Pietro glanced in the mirror to address her, before his gaze returned to the road.:: "There's a Czech district in Manhattan."

She looked a little surprised. "I didn't know you went there."

::Pietro caught the surprise in her features, which was unexpected.:: "You seem surprised."

"I guess I just thought..." She tried to frame her words correctly. "I thought that you wouldn't want to go there, that you'd be too nostalgic in public."

"I don't grow nostalgic in public," ::Pietro replied, eyes watching for the southbound exit. That was true, he might grow excited, or possibly angry at an occurrence, but he kept nostalgia to himself and those he trusted. Public was no place for such a weakness.::

Her eyebrow rose. "I stand corrected...again," she said, amusement in her voice.

"I thought you would like to see the area," ::Pietro continued, switching to the left-most lane when it opened. She had learned German for him, and he thought that she might enjoy more sharing of culture.::
