((OOC: Set after Wideawake, but before Magneto's return.))
::Pietro had lived in America for half his life, but of the twins, he had been the one who had assimilated less. He remembered the old ways, he remembered more of the language, he cared less about American customs, and viewed himself not as American, despite his parentage. Family and sense of culture were important to him, which was what had led to his choice for the location of his date with Rossignol.
It was late-afternoon, and he was dressed in his navy blue suit, and his black boots. Approaching Rossignol's door to pick her up for the date, he knocked rapidly with his right hand, holding the five roses in his left.::

Ty wore a red dress with gold jewelry, one of the rare things she'd actually spent her own money on and not borrowed from someone. The dress was longsleeved, but dipped very deeply in the back, and the color compimented the tattoo on her back. She had on everything but her shoes when Pietro knocked. She opened the door, moving back to let him in. "Hi."

"Hello," ::Pietro greeted, stepping into her bedroom and shutting the door behind him. His eyes traced the dress, falling upon the jewelry. With Magneto gone, she had the luxury of wearing metal without him growing concerned.:: "You are radiant."

"It doesn't seem like it's been that long," she replied, coming off her tiptoes and setting the roses on her dresser. She's put them in water in the bathroom before they left.

"Thank you for remembering," Ty said fondly, sitting down to slide on her shoes, simple ballet flats good for walking on snowy sidewalks. She had a pair of gold heels waiting, though since she didn't know where they were going, whether or not she wore them would depend on the location.

::There was no reason for her to thank him for cherishing their relationship. Pietro had told her that time and again, and for now, knew that reminding her was futile, just as asking him not to thank her was futile. Life with his sister had taught him to recognize subtle signs, how she waited to put on her shoes was a result of not knowing their destination.:: "We are going to Manhattan."

She nodded. "All right. I'd rather wear flats now and change when we get where we're going." Ty had an admiration for high heels, and felt slightly cheated that she couldn't wear them with her X-Men uniform, so she wore them whenever possible. "As long as where we're going has a coatroom."

"They should," ::Pietro had scouted the location before they had gone. And fortunately, there had been nothing but light flurries, a minimum of dangers on the sidewalk.::

"Then I'll bring them." Shoes on, she rose and got her coat from where it lay across the bed, a simple dress coat as opposed to the one Nimrod had given her with it's biohazard sign. There were other uses for that. She ducked into the bathroom for a minute, put the flowers in water until she could come back and find a proper vase, taking a minute to smell them as well, and came back out to retrieve her shoes and a small handbag. "Shall we?"
